Chapter 11 - Long Story

Later that night you were in bed, Leah fell asleep as soon as her head hit the pillow, you slowly wiggled your way out if Leahs arms and went to the bathroom, you looked at your right arm and noticed how much of a mess it was.
"Fuck sake"
You muttered under your breath, suddenly you felt someone coming behind you, it was Leah she rested her chin on your shoulder
"Why are you up at this time? It's 2am love"
Leah said, her voice was raspy and then you heard a loud sound leave her mouth. You quickly went to pull your sleeve down but Leah had already seen, you didn't want to tell her about your issues just yet but it seemed like you was going have to. You looked up at Leah to see her eyes welling up
"Did you do that?"
She whispered looking back at your arm which she still had a tight grip on, you didn't know how to respond so you just nodded. Leah pulled you into a tight hug, resting your head on her chest
"Why?"
She asked still swallowing the lump in her throat, she kissed your forehead and cupped your pale face with her hands looking into your eyes
"Its a really long story"
You said sighing and kissing Leahs lips, the kiss was deep and gently. She picked you up and put you on the worktop next to the sink looking in the draw, she cleaned your arm and wrapped it up in order to hide it from the rest of the squad
"Tell me when your struggling next time, I don't want to lose you"
Leah said while picking you up once again and climbing into bed spooning you from behind
"what time is it?"
She whispered into your ear, you tapped your phone and it read 2:03am
"2am"
"You just never sleep do you?"
She replied
"No not really"
She was asleep within seconds, whereas you took around another hour when you woke up at 5am so there was really no point in going back to sleep
"Le can you maybe stop squeezing the air out of me and let me go to the bathroom?"
You whispered trying to not fully wake her up, she just shook her head and cuddled up to you even more
"Babe I need to get up"
You said stroking her hand, this woke her up
"Did you just call me babe?"
She said lifting her head up and resting on her elbow
"erm yeah is that okay?"
You said becoming quite flustered and looking away from Leah who had a smirk on her face
"that's absolutely fine love"
She kissed your cheek and let you get out of bed, you got ready and decided to go for a run.
