Kushina shook her head with a smile. "You kids are going to give us old ladies a heart attack-"

BANG

Minato and Fugaku slammed into each other as they slid in the hallway. All eyes were on the two men as they quickly caught their breath.

Fugaku coughed as he rubbed his knees. "I'm too old for this crap."

"You're telling me." Minato quickly stepped into the room, "We heard a bang. What happened?"

You gestured to Sasuke with a theatrical sigh. "Sasuke happened. Decided to take a stroll and forgot how to walk."

Sasuke shot you a deadpan look. "Very funny, (Y/n)."

"Thanks." You grinned. "I already knew that though."

Settling Sasuke into the back seat of the car was a mission.

"Fuck Sasuke!" You groaned as the Uchiha's leg slipped off the pillow for the third time. "Quit doing that!"

"I can't help it! It's not my fault this backseat's small! I've gotta sit at an angle. My leg's gonna fall off the pillow!"

You shot the boy a glare. "Did you seriously just insult my car? Because any insult to my car I take as an insult to me. Got that Uchiha?"

Sasuke gave you a mock salute. "Roger that, captain. Look, send Itachi back. He's good at tetris."

To that you actually let out a snort. Your hands rested on your hips and you shook your head. "Alright. Since I'm not good enough for you." You stepped aside and gestured for Itachi to settle his brother in.

Itachi chuckled and poked your forehead. "Apologies, but he is right. I'm good at tetris."

"Yeah, whatever." You fished your keys out from your pocket and made your way to the driver's side door. "You Uchiha's must be if you can fit your massive egos in your heads."

You cut off your good natured ribbing as you turned the car on. Itachi quickly slid into the passenger seat, shooting one last look over his shoulder. "Alright. You seem settled in enough." Now to you. "Do you know the directions (Y/n)?"

Dramatically, you placed the back of your hand against your forehead. "You wound me Itachi. Of course I know how to get to Sasuke's doctor."

"Just checking!"

"Guys," Sasuke grumbled, "My leg fell off again."

"Fuck off."

Sasuke did NOT like the waiting room of Doctor Tsunade's office. It was bleak and dull. And to make matters worse, Itachi and you had just abandoned him there!

Okay . . . abandoned was a bit of a harsh word. The two of you were just across the road - grocery shopping. Earlier, the two of you brought him inside to get settled before scurrying off to pick up some necessary supplies.

Naturally, he understood why. Your parents were flying back into town, Kushina needed things, and there was no point in waiting with him. This was going to be the first appointment of many. A more diagnostic one, if you would. Determine if Sasuke's leg was in the right place after surgery.
