Time and time again LakshmiNarayan were asked to prove their love for each other through either curses or boons.

Even after demonstrating every time that they were one soul, people still questioned their love. Lakshmi had just demonstrated the act of pure unselfish love as Sita to preserve the maryada of her Ram.
But some people in their ignorance and self conceit do not learn from the past.
Such a person was Sridama, an ardent devotee of Shri Krishna.

"I curse you Radha!! You shall forget Shri Krishna for 100 years and will remain separated from him in mrityulok!"

Extremely excruciating pain erupted in the heart of Lakshmi which brought her out of her yoganidra. Realising what had happened to Devi Radha, she screamed in agony and fell on her knees. Her soul grappling her sanity as it felt the passing of Radha from Golok.

Tears cascading down her face she collapsed on the lotus on which she was seated. Her teardrops touched the lotus causing it to wither off.

The flowers of Vaikuntha shrivelled and fell. It's radiance dimming by each passing moment.

On Prithvi lok, storms and rain created havoc. Trees fell down, the plants scorched up and floods destroyed the fauna. The Prakriti was rebelling because it was in pain. How could it remain calm? The forms will rebel when the all compassing Jagatjanani was going through such torment.
