"I don't like anyone" he said choking and almost in the verge of tears. "Guys, stop making him cry, look how sweet he is to all of you" Lily said giving him a hug. "Where's Jennie?" Lily asked looking at me. 

WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH POTTER! I TRIED SO HARD AND DIVERTED THE TOPIC AND LOOK NOW! SHE'S RUINED EVERYTHING! GOSH!

"You diverted the topic didn't you" Lorcan said. I gave a look of self-disappointment. "So anyone has a date?" Lily asked. "Potter where are your friends?" I asked her trying to chase her away. "They don't care about Valentines day they're just talking about some random news" Lily said sighing.

"Am I friends with the wrong people?" I asked her looking at my roomies. I should be friend with Potter's friend, what am I doing with my life? 

"Trust me no" she said. "So Lysander choose one" Lorcan said sticking out his index and middle finger. I chose the middle finger. "Yay!" Lorcan squealed like a baby. "What?" I asked. "You chose Lily!" he said. "Sorry I reject him, he's too short" Lily said.

WAIT WHAT DID I CHOSE AND GET REJECTED FOR AGAIN? I'M SO CONFUSED. "Ask Lily on a date" Lorcan said. I started laughing. SOMETHING IS WRONG WITH HUMANS!!!! THEY ARE ALL DUMB. WHAT MADE ME THINK CHOOSING A FINGER IS GONNA MAKE ME GO ON A DATE?

"No thanks, I don't like short girls " I said to counter her statement to reject me due to my height even though I didn't even ask her on a date.

"I'm not short" Lily said. "Me and you are the same height, if you're not short them how am I short?" I asked her. "Guys, you're conversation is boring me to death" Jared said out of the blue. "When is Jennie gonna get here I'm so bored" Val said.

 "HEY JENNIE!" everyone said in a creepy cult-like chorus. Dude that so so creepy the way they said that.

"Happy Valentines day" she said as she looked away from my eyes and handed me a box and chocolates tied with a red ribbon and a letter attached to it. MY INSIDES WERE DEAD. I WASN'T ABLE TO SAY ANYTHING. I THINK I'M BRAIN DEAD. Until Val kicked my knees and I came back to reality. "Uhh" I said. 

Jennie just stood there her brunette hair all combed up and her blue eyes lingering around like she was searching for something she dropped. 

Val gave me another kick. VALENTINO ANDERSON YOU ARE SO FREAKING DEAD AFTER I OVERCOME THIS AWKWARDNESS.

"Well, ok" I said as I took the chocolates from her. Lysander did you just say 'ok' when she said 'Happy Valentines Day'? I asked myself.  I feel like some kind of cool kid for some reason.

"Bye" she said as she walked away quickly. 

"What was that?" Jared asked me. "What was what?" I questioned him back. "THAT" he said pointing at the chocolates I got from Jennie. "Am I supposed to say chocolates?" I said and right at that moment I could see Jared ready to slap me. "That was so awkward, you're weird Scamander" Lily commented.

"I should just fall off a cliff" I said sitting down. This is so bad, I feel disappointed. I was supposed to be a person lurking in the shadows, how come this girl noticed me and I can't believe I got my first chocolate at thirteen.

"Lysander and Jennie sitting in. a tree" Val started waiting for me to react, I was too disappointed in myself to react. "Dude are you actually ok?" Lorcan asked concerned. "No" I said in a low voice. I'm still not over the fact that I got chocolates, a sudden overwhelming feeling passed through me.
