Calista paused, taken aback by the news. "What? Oh well, I'll wash on my own then," she said, a hint of disappointment in her voice. Ace, seeing her discomfort, offered, "If I may be of some assistance, can I wash your hair?"

Calista looked at him, her eyebrows raised in surprise. "Are you telling me my hair smells?" she asked, her tone stern yet playful. Ace flustered, quickly denying her accusation. "O-of course not, my lady. I was merely asking," he stammered, his eye twitching in annoyance.

Calista, amused by his reaction, instructed him to wait outside. "Turn around and sit out. I'll call you when I'm done bathing. You can wash my hair then," she said, her voice firm yet gentle. Ace, understanding her wishes, left the bathroom and waited outside while Calista bathed herself.

As the morning sun rose higher in the sky, the castle came alive with the sounds of the day. But inside Calista's quarters, the world was still quiet, the only sound being the soft splash of water as Calista bathed. It was a peaceful start to what promised to be another eventful day in the castle.

There was a knock and a person said,
"Milady, I am here to tend to your request," he said in a soft tone.

Ace then entered the room, carrying a silver basin filled with warm water and a selection of oils. He approached Calista, who was sitting by the window, her hair cascading down her back.

He gently began to wash her hair, his fingers expertly working through the tangles. Calista closed her eyes, a smile playing on her lips as she murmured,

"Yea, just there. You're doing good."

Yes, just there, you're doing exceptionally well," she murmured, lost in the blissful sensation.

He had never heard her make such sounds before, and the effect on him was both thrilling and unnerving.

"Ooo, yes, go and do more with your hands"

Ace tried to compose himself, seeing and hearing her like that. His heart pounded in his chest, but he kept his focus on his task.

"Ooo, that's good keep going," Calista sighed, her voice barely above a whisper. He stopped for a moment, his hands stilling in her hair.

'His fingers do work so good'

"Why did you stop?" Calista asked, opening her eyes to look at him. Ace cleared his throat, trying to keep his voice steady.

"For the sake of my composure, I beg you not to make those sounds."

'What sounds I was mearly sighing and feeling good so how did I even make him lose his composure'

Calista looked at him, her eyes twinkling with amusement. "Why, what is it? It was such a good massage, I almost fell asleep."

Ace tried to speak, but his mouth opened and closed like a fish out of water. He finally managed to stammer out, "Do as you please, milady."

"Very well, my dear servant. Please, continue." she said, leaning back again, her trust unwavering with renewed determination, Ace regained his composure and resumed his task and with a shrug, Calista closed her eyes again, allowing Ace to continue.

He picked up a bottle of oil, pouring a small amount into his hands before working it into her hair. The scent of lavender filled the room, adding to the peaceful atmosphere.

As he continued to wash and massage her hair, Calista's soft sighs of contentment echoed in the room. The world outside the window began to stir, the castle coming alive with the sounds of the day. But inside Calista's quarters, time seemed to stand still. The only sound was the soft splash of water and the gentle rustle of fabric as Ace worked, his hands moving with practiced ease.

Finally, after what felt like an eternity, Ace finished. He stepped back, looking at Calista with a sense of accomplishment. Her hair, now clean and shiny, fell around her shoulders like a dark waterfall. She looked up at him, her eyes sparkling with gratitude. "Thank you, Ace," she said softly, her voice filled with sincerity. "You may leave now."

And with that, Ace left the room, leaving Calista to enjoy the rest of her morning in peace. As he closed the door behind him, he couldn't help but smile. Despite the early hour and the unusual request, he wouldn't trade his position for anything in the world. After all, serving Calista was his duty and somehow she was different than before it was amusing.
