Abelsonite is a reddish, fibrous-looking mineral from Utah. It is the only Geoporphyrin to have a crystallic structure, and often occurs with common minerals like Quartz and Mica.
It is also rare and fragile, Mohs scale 2-3, so is hard to get and must be handled with care.
