Prologue: The town where the era of pirate's began

I walk through the dark alleyway and was freezing cold by the weather, it was raining and I was wearing a brown collared shirt and shorts that dadan made from materials that makino given her, it was made by hand and she gave it to me on my birthday

The cold wind blew again and it make me shiver to my spine as I heard eeriest sound I ever heard. All my protection potions immunity have gone dry so I have to bear this myself

I turn my head 90 degrees and I felt my face went pale, a tall figure tower over me as I stand there shaking in fear holding my arms for warmth

I try to speak but my voice cracked sounding like I was pissing my pants "H- hey sir... A.. you're not gonna hur..hurt me -do yo- you?" I mutter, my breath was shaky

The tall figure bent over and kneeling next to me as it held out his hand

I backing away from the figure and my back hit the wall behind me, a dead end

I glance side to side and gulped, the tall man tilt his head "Sweet child, don't fear, my dear. I, here came to give you a life you seek"

My eyes went wide and my mouth open in shock "Sir... How do you know I don't have anything now?.. GASP ARE YOU- DID MY DAD SENT YOU OVER TO KIDNAP ME AND SENT ME TO GOA BACK!" I hold my mouth after shouting hoping there's no other people with him

He smile and pat me assuring me he isn't a bad guy, his hand were warm and I almost fell asleep on his arms

I rest my eyes and snuggle close and say thanks to him that he isn't one

The man carry me to a unknown building, look like a shop- wait shop??? He brought me in and place me down on the counter, he call out old man appeared from the counter that was scolding the man

I was confused but I just look around the place and remembered that this town is where the execution of King Pirates was held 10 years ago. Person I respect with everything. The man keep apologising to the old man which i assume were his elder or something

The old man was done his lecturing to the man,the man turn to me and walk close to me and pat my head saying that he had no attention of kidnapping me

I sweatdropped and said bluntly "This is considered as kidnapping sir."

The man hold his laugh and the old man sweating, sighing deep as he glare at the man

"Dear do you know what happened after you came here?" The old man ask in a gentle tone, I shook my head and ask why

"Well the marine's thought you were one of the pirate's and put a bounty over your head only for 13 berries, as I remember seen on the wanted poster you escaped is that true? Also Velvet... Artemis De Velvet..The Bloodylust Cursed child..bounty 140.000.000 wanted for slaughtering people family's for unknown reason and was seen by side of pirate that once came from here. Vel what happened to you and your mother while being with those scums.." The man glance at the old man looking down on me too

I nodded but the tall man kneel beside me, putting his hand over my shoulders while looking into my eyes seriously but also sincerely

"Well, Sweet dear you're not a monster like people say you are.. even now. I want you to lay low profile here in Logue town. I don't want my cousin's daughter to get hunted again. Your bounty seem to go down so it'll be help, so hunters won't search for you. You incredibly have different looks from 9 years ago. Vel your white hair have turned (h/c), and your eyes stopped turning red. Are you changing for better now? If it is.. I like you to Live here with Ippon matsu" I look at him overly confused, I turn my head to the Old man nodding confirming his head to the statement
