Chapter 3: Raiders

Sanctuary hills:

A week had passed since Dynobot's arrival. So far he, Codsworth and Strika managed to fix up Sanctuary as best they could. Some of the houses were repaired while the debris was used to make walls around the settlement. Unfortunately they were not so well built as it was just Dynobot who had functional hands.

Currently, Dynobot was in one of the houses resting. As he rested he had dreams of being on Cybertron. Unfortunately the dream was cut short as he had woken up. As he awoke, Dynobot was soon greeted by a certain Mr. handy.

Codsworth: Good morning sir.

Dynobot: *groans* Morning Codsworth.

Codsworth: Slept well I hope.

Dynobot: Indeed. Did anything happen while I was recharging?

Codsworth: Thankfully no. Strika has been patrolling and making sure Sanctuary is safe.

Dynobot: That's good. That only leaves me to my own tasks today.

Codsworth: What do you plan on doing?

Dynobot: I'll see if I can find anyone looking for a new home.

Codsworth: A generous and noble task. Do be careful.

Dynobot then proceeded to head out for the day. As he left the settlement, Dynobot thought very carefully about where he'll go to. There were a few good locations to venture to. However, it was very likely that some of if not most settlers will need help.

Time skip:

After a good trek, Dynobot had arrived at a familiar location. It was the USAF satellite station Olivia where a group of raiders had turned it to their personal base. As he was currently scoping out the station, Dynobot saw one of the raiders guarding the outside. Unfortunately he no weapons to use that would not expose his location. Dynobot proceeded to look around his surroundings hoping to find anything that could be of use. He eventually found something that could be of use, a hunting rifle. But do to his size and hands Dynobot didn't know if he could utilize it. 

Walking on the makeshift lookout, a raider was looking out for any possible targets. But just as he was  scanning the area from his perch, a bullet found it's mark in his skull. Unfortunately, the raider's dog shared the same fate as it's master. After dealing with the raider on the lookout, Dynobot threw away the hunting rifle do to how limited he could use it. He proceeded to transform into his alt-mod and stealthily made his way to the entrance of the station. Once he was at the entrance, he saw through the open widow a raider who was guarding said entrance.  Unfortunately for the raider, his back was turned to the open window leaving him open for a stealth attack. Taking this opportunity, Dynobot in his alt-mode snapped his jaws on the raider's head with enough force that he would die instantly. He then proceeded to toss the body away with little care. After dealing with the raiders that were guarding the outside of the station, Dynobot made his way inside still in his alt-mode. 

Once inside the station, Dynobot saw the laser trap that had been put in place by the raiders. After disabling the trap, Dynobot proceeded to look for anything that could help deal with the raiders that had taken over. He soon sees a familiar computer terminal he recognized that connects to a room not to far from it. Dynobot was about to try and hack it, but stopped when he heard foot steps. Thanks to his time before he awoke he remembered the patrolling raider. As the raider got closer, Dynobot patiently waited for raider to round the corner. As soon as the raider appeared from the corner they were soon met with a brown striped tail tripping them. Before they could react, their head was slammed down on the ground by Dynobot's foot. However, when he slammed the raider's head on the ground, Dynobot's raptor claw had punctured the raider's skull killing him instantly. After dealing with the raider Dynobot proceeded to attempt to hide the body. As he hid the body, Dynobot checked to see what the raider had on their person. What he found was not much. The raider had a ten millimeter pistol on him as well as some chems. Dynobot took the pistol as well as what ammo the raider had on him and proceeded to try and thin out the number of raiders.
