the much older god sighed.
he'd been trying his best to apologize over the last couple weeks.
persephone had apparently taken quite the liking to the girl, when she was on earth.
"come on! i'm sorry." hades tried, once more, with a huff. "i have your phone."
"okay, i forgive you." cherry was quick to turn around.
she took the bright red device from him.
it was dead.
and she probably didn't have wifi, anyways.
"you can forgive me after this." hades shrugged.
"what?" cherry looked up.

when cherry woke up, she was back at home, and her dad was being extra-nice.
he was always doting on her, but more than usual.
at the end of the summer, grover had been determined to find cherry.
before he could set off on his own quest to the underworld, grover was invited to the palace.
he was the only person to see cherry alive, since then.
he kept it a secret, and went off to find pan, with her support.
cherry and grover knew percy would return to camp half blood that summer.
cherry was going to kill him.
she had people watching percy at all times.
when he was at home, when he was at the store, when he was at school.
actually, cherry sent monsters to attack him at school.
percy barely survived the encounter.
he'd been having strange dreams and visions.
when annabeth, percy, and percy's half-brother, tyson, returned to camp half blood, the camp was under attack.
they were quick to defend.
as percy was fighting, he'd gotten a glimpse of red hair.
he instantly turned back.
cherry was standing right there.
"you suck at fighting." cherry commented.
percy tried to catch his breath.
a bull slashed down on his arm.
he looked down at the blood that began to leak. when he looked up, she was gone.
he almost thought he was going crazy.
the dreams he was having about grover weren't making him anymore comfortable.
grover was searching the sea to find pan.
it was a trap.
he was stuck there, and he begged percy for help.
of course, percy was willing.
it was going to be difficult.
when grover said that cherry was alive, and he needed her help?
percy knew it would be impossible.
