*5:20 PM, Kaplan and Bold were closing for the day. Many people had already left, and the lights had been dimmed. Inside Fantasia's office, she had the door closed and curtains drawn.*

"What's going on, baby? How's work treating you?" Ken asked on the other line as Fantasia sifted through the papers she had laid out on her desk.

"Well, as you know, it's always kicking me in my ass, but it's not as bad as usual today. There hasn't been any fallout from one of the company's ad campaigns yet, so no lawsuits or cases that need to be covered anytime soon," Fantasia explained to Ken in a low, tired voice.

"Well, for what it's worth, Halle's making dinner tonight, so you don't have to cook?" he said as she gave a weak smile. "Well, I'll be home in maybe two hours. I have to run some papers off and take them to be filed, okay?" she said as he sighed.

"Ken, don't be like that. You know my job is stressful and a lot sometimes. You just need to be patient with me, just like how I am patient with you and your police stuff?" she exclaimed.

"Sorry, I'm just so tired of missing you. I hate being on leave! All because I don't get to come home to you or get home with you," he said, frowning through the phone. Fantasia couldn't help but smile at her silly husband.

"Look, that's enough. Goodnight. I'll be home soon, and make Halle do her homework!" Fantasia instructed before hanging up the phone.

Someone knocked on the door, and she instructed them to come in. It was Ivan. "Miss Barrino, would you like to speak to Miss Henson before her shift ends?" Ivan said, poking his head into the room. She paused for a second before answering.

"Sure, send her in," Fantasia said, knowing it would come off as rude not to. "On it!" he said before speeding back out the door.

Fantasia quickly began trying to clear her desk. She clumped papers together and placed them aside, sorting her pens, and straightening her clothes out. She was acting like the president was about to walk in. She knew they weren't, but it felt like it.

*Be calm, nice, and open, and forget everything that we said and did. She's just like everyone else, somebody that works near me.* She repeated to herself over and over again, watching the door for the moment she could see Taraji's silhouette through the frosted glass door.

She appeared and Fantasia could barely keep her eyes off the outline in the door, soft flowing curves hidden behind something that would over out of the way any second. The door opened and a rush of air flew at Fantasia, she choked, and came back to reality.

"Miss Henson, come it have a seat, I just wanted to check in on you!" Fantasia said finding herself opening her arms to Taraji

"Thank you, Miss B-, Taylor" she corrected embracing the hug not wanting to be rude, they both were hot to the touch

They stood there embracing each other for a moment until Taraji began pulling away, "Umm, so you wanted to speak to me?" She said gently pushing Fantasia from her much to her disappointment

As Fantasia returned to her seat taraji sat down, she couldn't help but look at Fantasia's body.

*Damn she still got it* she whispered, but Fantasia couldn't hear

"So, how was your first day? Any questions or concerns?"

"No, none, it's nice, I think I'll be here for a while. Everybody's friendly..." She paused for a second looking away from Fantasia when she said friendly

*For now* Fantasia whispered looking away, Taraji heard but bit her tongue before she say anything else

"So! How's life treating you, how's your son?" Fantasia just blurted out knowing it was in the back of her mind
