Y/n's Pov:

"Either we finish them or they'll finish us! It's the only way we'll be rid of them. If we find the nest and destroy it, the dragons will leave. They'll find another home! One more search before the ice sets in." Stoick said

"Those ships never come back." A Viking said

"We're Vikings. It's an occupational hazard. Now who's with me?" Stoick said

No one put their hands up.

"All right. Those who stay will look after Hiccup and Y/n." Stoick said

Everyone agreed to go with him.

"Aye. That's more like it." Stoick said

"Right. I'll pack my undies." Gobber said

"No, I need you to stay and train some new recruits." Stoick said

"Perfect. And, while I'm busy, Hiccup and Y/n can cover the stall. Molten steal, razor sharp blades, lots of time to themselves. What could possibly go wrong?" Gobber said

Stoick groans. "What am I going to do with them, Gobber?"

"Put them both in training with the others." Gobber said

"No, I'm serious." Stoick said

"So am I." Gobber said

"They'd be killed before you let the first dragon out of its cage." Stoick said

"Oh, you don't know that." Gobber said

"I do, actually."  Stoick said

"No you don't." Gobber said

"No, I do." Stoick said

"No, you don't." Gobber said

"Listen you know what they're like. From the time they could crawl, they've been...different. They don't listen. They have the attention span of a sparrow. I take them fishing and they go hunting for trolls!" Stoick said

"Trolls exist. They steal your socks. But only the left ones. What's with that?" Gobber said

"When I was a boy." Stoick said

"Here we go." Gobber groaned

"My father told me to bang my head against a rock and I did it. I thought it was crazy, but I didn't question him. And you know what happened?" Stoick said

"You got a headache." Gobber said

"That rock split in two. It taught me what a Viking could do, Gobber. He could crush mountains, level forests, tame seas! Even as a boy I knew what I was, what I had to become. Hiccup is not that boy and Y/n she is almost exactly like Hiccup." Stoick said

"You can't stop them, Stoick. You can only prepare them. I know it seems hopeless, but the truth is you won't always be around to protect them. Their going to get out there again. Their probably out there now."  Gobber said
