Strangers get born, strangers get buried
Trends change, rumors fly through new skies
But I'm right where you left me"

For as long as each of them could remember, JJ Maybank and April Davy did not get along well.

April actually knew JJ longer than anyone else, it was a shame they hated each other.

There was a brief, short, small period of time where they weren't enemies. It was the start of preschool when April and JJ had just arrived for their very first day of kindergarten. April was the first to be there, and ended up having to wait outside the door for everyone else to arrive with her mum beside her.

JJ on the other hand, was the last to come. JJ was in fact late, very late. Him and his mom had came bursting through the classroom door with a string of apologies flowing out of his moms mouth

That was the first and only time April had ever seen JJ's mom.

April remembered staring at the little boy as soon as he had came in. JJ caught her staring and in return he immediately at the ripe age of four, gave her a look with his eyebrows knitted together, nose scrunched and his mouth downturned in angry pout

That was the end of JJ and Aprils peace. It lasted all of ten seconds.

From then on, they didn't like each other. Every chance they both got they would send each other dirty looks, at the age of four.

As the time passed, the hatred grew and grew

Teachers tried everything. JJ and April were often sat beside each other because it was a teachers attempt at making them 'work out their differences'

If anything that fueled the fire.

JJ would do anything to get a rise out of April, and for the most part he would get a rise out of her, this only made him do it more

JJ did anything to torment little April.

April always had to win, she had to be good at everything, she could never be wrong. That was why time and time again, she had tried so hard to be good at the school side of things, but she just couldn't. Always trying in school but failing over and over again was exhausting for her and april often got really frustrated, so altogether she stopped trying in school after 8th grade
