" can't we go to the gift shop now Bowie? " Raj whined as he hugged his boyfriend from behind as he nuzzles his neck, in his loose shirt and shorts.

" No Raj! We had just came into the goddamn zoo! " Bowie laughed.

" But whyy? " Raj groaned again.

" cause I haven't been to a zoo in a while and I wanna have fun again. "

" when's the last time you went then? "

" when I was 7, my big brother took me here. "

" THATS WHY? " Raj said in surprise.

" YOU WERE 7 THE LAST TIME YOU WENT TO A ZOO? "

" Yep. " Bowie said.

" That's why we are not going to the gift shop first! Let's go and see what's first! I'm making your first time back here your best one yet!! " Raj was gonna put in the effort as he held his hand and dragged Bowie along.

" what happened to the gift shop?- pft. " Bowie held in his laugh and let him get dragged.

" do you see cats at a zoo? " Raj looked behind and asked.

" Babe. No you don't see a normal house cat you can buy at the zoo. " Bowie said.

" awhhh :(, do you- "

" no you don't see normal dogs either. "

" ohhhh cmonnn! " Raj whined.

" chill out- we see more cool animals than normal house pets Raj. " Bowie said and smiled to him.

" I guess. " Raj sighed and leaned on him and smiled.

" Good, we get to see more cool animals like- "

" THATS A BIG CAT! " Raj said pointing to the lion.

" that one. And that's a lion." Bowie chuckled.

" It looks so cool Bowie!! " Raj became starry eyed staring at the lion sleeping.

" I mean- sure it's very cool baby. " Bowie looked beside him leaning his hands on the railing.

" But you know what my favourite animal is? " Raj said.

" I actually don't know, what is it? " Bowie leaned in.

" it's obvious Bowie!! " Raj smiled

" you know- me and Wayne play for them?? " Raj nudged him.

" oh oh!! Snow owls!! " Bowie guessed.

" yeah!! But we probably won't see any, they come in the night. " Raj sulked.

" Honey, they- you know never mind I'll let your imagine run around like always. "

" I can't believe you're so f**king dumb it's hard to not love you. " Bowie smiled and kissed his cheeks.

" Maybe I'll teach you about animals, for instance, the big cat right there- " Bowie puts on hand on Raj's shoulder and uses his other hand to point.

" Is a lion. They live in Safaris? " Bowie said looking at the lion.

" Don't they live in the ocean? "

" babe no- "

Bowie and Raj walked around for a bit, getting lost and soon walking to see more animals..

" oh, what's here?? " Bowie says looking at the animals, there it was.

A cassowary.

Bowie instantly remembered the cassowary challenge and how- Raj and Wayne got eliminated because of them going to the hospital because of one.
He gulped as he was in a bit of shock.

" Hey Bows! what's h- " Raj's voice got cut off by a cassowary, Raj looked to see one there. He froze for a second

" Oh- no. I can't do this again I'm sorry bows- " before turning back and running to the bathrooms.
Having a panic attack and running fastly, like he was being chased by the same cassowary on the show.

" Raj! " Bowie ran after Raj but seems to have lost him.

" If I were my panicking boyfriend where would I go. " Bowie looked around to see the bathrooms, he rushed into the male section and see one door was locked and closed, someone crying inside.

" Oh Raj.. " Bowie sighed, he grabbed a pin from his hair and shimmied it around in the lock before it became open.

Bowie closed the door and hugged him to consult him.

" it's ok, the bird is behind glass. " Bowie whispered, Raj's tears soaking his shoulder.

" but these- are- are- they can- end me up in- the hospital again.. " Raj cried as he gripped on tighter.

" as long as I'm here, that bird is never gonna hurt you again.. " Bowie ran his fingers through his hair and traced circles on his back.

" You P-Promise? Pinky promise? " Raj looked to him, Raj's head on his shoulder.

" pinky promise. " Bowie smiled as he held his face between his hands, his boyfriend looking like a sad dog to him.

Bowie kisses his lips and Raj kissed back for a sweet moment before pulling apart.

" I love you so so much. " Raj said and nuzzled into his chest.

" I love you so so much too. " Bowie smiled.

Next day

DING DONG

Bowie was coming over to Raj's place as Raj raced down the stairs, all his siblings were working or with friends and his parents were out so Raj had the house to himself.

Raj opened the door.

" Hi Bows!! " Raj smiled but noticed something in Bowie's hand.

" what's that? " Raj said

" a surprise, babe. " Bowie smiled.

Bowie went in with Raj to Raj's bedroom as they both talked and closed the door.

" Ok- I know, your birthday is in June 27th and it's January but I had to get you this, It reminded me of you and I thought you might need it. " Bowie said.

Bowie gave a box to Raj.

" Awh Bowie! " Raj smiled and hugged him.

" cmon!! I wanna see you open it!! " Bowie said.

Raj nodded as he opened the box to see..

a young, little, white snow owl blinking its eyes at Raj, Raj came into tears almost instantly and hugged Bowie.

" Thank you, Thank you so much Bowie!! " Raj smiled and hugged him tight.

" Well- I thought maybe you like a small bird instead- after all, it's your team's animal aint it? " Bowie smiled.

" Just like Marry me already this is like a proposal to me. " Raj said showering his face in kisses.

" Wait Hockey boy!! We are only 16! " Bowie laughs and hugs him back.

" so what are you gonna call the owl? " Bowie said.

" Snowie. " Raj said as the owl perched on his head.

" Why? " Bowie smiled.

" cause- snow owls and snowie and Bowie rhymes :) "
