Chapter 106: Lucifer's Appearance

Before the horned man's hammer could connect with the young man, he swiftly vanished from his spot again before reappearing behind the man and kicking him in the back, sending him crashing into a nearby abandoned building. Yet not even a second later, the man came charging out of the building with a wrathful expression while coating his war hammer in intent before powerfully swinging it toward the young man; however, although the young man evaded the attack, the wind pressure destroyed his cloak.

"You. Hahaha, to think I've stumbled upon your kind here; Heaven must be blessing me. I won't sell you as a slave; instead, I'll devour you. I've heard rumors that consuming an Angel grants incredible benefits for a Demon like me!" Said the Horned Demon with a vicious and greedy expression as he stared at the handsome young man who possessed gentle golden eyes, beautiful white hair, and two large majestic white feathered wings with glowing golden markings.

'Lucifer, you can not be so careless; because of your foolish actions in the past, your existence has already been brought to light, and I'm sure many powerful organizations have already sent hunting parties after you.' Said a worried old, yet wise voice in Lucifer's mind.

'My apologies, Master. I'll quickly finish this.' Thought Lucifer softly before hardening his eyes as he stared at the incoming demon.

As the Demon attacked Lucifer once more, Lucifer outstretched his hand and stopped the giant war hammer that was heading straight toward him with his arms, causing the Demon to show a shocked expression; however, before he could regain his composure, Lucifer swiftly appeared just before the Demon and gently placed his hand atop his stomach.

"Hopefully, with this, you'll learn your lesson and repent for all the evil you've committed in the past." Said Lucifer softly as he injected a massive amount of Qi into the Demons dantian, causing it to swell quickly before exploding.

"AAARGH!!" Said the Demon as he spat out a mouthful of blood while falling to the ground below.

"You! YOU! I'LL KILL YOU!" Exclaimed the Demon as he spat out blood, holding his stomach with one arm while the weight of the war hammer crushed the other arm.

"With your dantian having been destroyed, you won't be harming anyone anymore, let alone killing someone. I suggest living the rest of your long life in peace and quiet; I sincerely hope you can turn over a new leaf in the future." Said Lucifer with a smile as he summoned a cloak from his dimension ring and wore it before disappearing from the scene, just in time, too, as the town guards quickly arrived.

'How many times have I told you, Lucifer, letting your enemies live is a stupid move that'll come back and bite you in the ass later.' Advised the old voice inside Lucifer's mind.

'That may be so, Master, but what will killing them achieve? Hatred begets Hatred; I'd only continue this cycle of hatred and violence if I had killed him. I do not wish for that; I want to spread love and peace wherever I go.' Thought Lucifer gently yet with determination, causing his Master to sigh in defeat.

'Haa, you should know such a thing is impossible, Lucifer. Hatred will always exist; nothing you do will ever stop the spread of hatred and violence.'

'I know, Master; however, that doesn't mean I'm just going to sit back and watch the world continue this cycle of hatred. Even if my effort is meaningless, I'll continue doing it till the day I die, as that is who I am.' Thought Lucifer as a powerful and pure intent hidden deep within himself slightly trembled in response.

"So you mean to tell me you fought with a young Angel a few days ago in this exact spot?" Questioned Ivan to the kneeling horned Demon.

"Yes, Prince Ivan! T-That bastard destroyed my dantian along with the rest of my men!" Replied the horned Demon viciously.

"I don't care about what he did to you and your men; besides, an Angel would never harm someone unprovoked, so you deserved it. Now tell me, what was this Angels' appearance." Questioned Ivan while inspecting the battlefield.

"He was young, roughly about your age Prince Ivan; he possessed golden eyes, short white hair, two large white feathered wings with golden markings on them, and a glowing blue pendant around his neck." Answered the horned Demon with evident malice in his voice.

"Hmm, that is not the usual description of an Angel; you're not lying to me, are you, Demon?" Commented Ivan as he turned around and pressured the Demon, causing him to lie sprawled out on the floor.

"I-I wouldn't d-dare lie to y-you, Prince Ivan!" Exclaimed the Demon quickly as Ivan's actions filled his body with fear.

"He is not lying, Prince Ivan; there is a good chance that the Angel he fought with was mutated, as there have been a few records of mutated Angels having markings on their wings and golden eyes." Stated the luxurious man who had been standing in the distance.

"A mutated Angel? Heaven is really blessing me; however, once word gets out that the rumored Angel is also a mutated, the amount of people hunting for him will exponentially increase." Said Ivan as he stopped pressuring the demon and headed toward the large, magnificent carriage the luxurious man was standing by.

"Kalen set the destination toward the nearest town or city; the Angel couldn't have gotten far within a few days, and you, Demon, you've proved useful; unfortunately, you know the Angel is mutated, so you must die. I can't have that knowledge being revealed too soon." Added Ivan as he entered the carriage, and before the Demon could respond, Kalen, the luxurious man, had pressured his body into a bloody paste on the ground.

"Right away, Prince." Replied Kalen with a bow.
