"You just proved it to me, right now..."
"I don't know why but, unlike how when we first met, you're being...really nice, or rather, nicer than usual...putting all the little creepiness aside"

"It's....hard to understand"

Niffty was flattered, and the she giggled a little
"I'm hard to understand?"

Alex looked at her with a little grin
"A little"

"Because...."
"You make me feel things...it's hard to explain"
Alex replied

"You're...hard to understand too...sometimes
"But at least...i kind of...get it now"
She gripped his hand tighter, her hand was significantly smaller than his, but it was just enough to close her fingers around it

He laughed a little bit, covering his forehead with his free hand

"Thanks Niffty..."
He said softly, with gratitude in his eyes...

"It's...nothing really, i'm just doing what i'm supposed to"
She shrank up a little, feeling sheepish, surprisingly

In contrast he chuckled lightly
"You're supposed to be comforting me?"
"Are you an angel too?"
"Oh boy i thought this was Hell"

Her face turned into a scarlet red, she looked to her side with a bit of a nervous smile

"I-i'm not that great..."

"No...you are"
He spoke again, his voice sounded more confident now, her eye widened slightly, looking at him again with a bit of a shocked expression

She didn't know what to say, but she was flustered

He suddenly leaned closer, but she didn't flinch, she didn't move an inch...

He gave her a light kiss on the forehead

"I think you really are that great, unless..."

"You secretly sew people together and stuff like that, hehe"

He jokingly lifted his hands and moved his fingers like a wave in a creepy way

She just laughed
"Ew!, stop that!, i feel like throwing up just thinking about the mess that would make"

There was a nice quiet moment between the two, they enjoyed each other's presence and warmth, until Alex spoke

Alex: "She's...really out of the ordinary isn't she?...the princess of hell"

Niffty: "You mean Charlie?...she's amazing isn't she?"

Alex: "Yup...she's so different from what i would expect of...well, demons"
"I made her really upset..."

Niffty: "It wasn't your fault...she...she's got a ton of problems on her already, i should have thought of that when bringing you here"

Alex: "I assume Lucifer doesn't exactly approve of this Hotel"

Niffty: "Dunno much about that...the worst part is that no one believes in her Hotel, or the whole idea of redemption"

Alex had a look of "Excuse me?" plastered on his face

"Wait what?"
"No one?!"

Niffty was a little startled by his reaction

"Uhh yeah??, it is kind of hard to believe"
"Is there a problem though?"

Alex was shocked but quickly recovered his composure

"Well...kind of...we'll discuss that with the others"

Are the residents of hell this stupid?
Alex thought to himself

Finally after enjoying his time with Niffty, Alex was feeling much better, and had questions to ask aswell, so he got up, hugged Niffty, gave her one last "Thanks", and walked out of the kitchen to meet the others
