Was he trying to comfort me?

The question rings in his head making his heart dance in an emotion that rarely touches Jimin's senses, he sighs deeply running his head through his tangled hair, straightening the curls, he was embarrassed at how weak and pathetic he must look in front of him he hated how he lost control over himself whenever these nightmares come and amidst these various emotions, there was a hint of remorse that he rejected the other when he was being nothing but kind to him despite all the horrible things the other had done to everyone else it wasn't a lie that he was always benevolent to him and Jimin wonders why?

Why he was treating him this way? He was a monster and hunting him was in his nature so why is he going against it? Against every rule of the universe? His train of questions was interrupted by the door opening and the man that was occupying Jimin's mind walked in holding his breakfast in his hands and this time Jimin didn't feel scared as he used to feel but was a little embarrassed about whatever happened last night.

Jimin stared at him his eyes widened then frowned upon seeing the water dripping from his hair, despite walking in the open air his clothes were still soaked, and his shoes left wet traces on the floor as he walked towards the bewildered boy.

Jimin examined his face searching for the cure for his confusion but found a mixture of emotions reflecting through the other's little cleaned face, many reasons for the state the man was in started hammering on Jimin's mind but the most appropriate was being chosen among them to voice out

"Was it raining before?"

The raven head looks up at him after placing the can of food on the ground and shakes his head in response.

"Then why are you wet, something happened?"

Jimin didn't pick up his food nor even spare it a glance as he had a bigger concern than feeding his growling stomach and he was met with another shake of other's long neck with a slight pout of his lips that was almost hidden behind the bushes of beard and mustache which caused him to exhale deeply he knew something upset the man, these past days had taught him little things about him and pouting in distraught was one of them

"I know something happened you can tell me"

The desperation in Jimin was unjustified by his voice that was rather low and soft but the man was a rock-hard wall and pulling out answers from him wasn't easy who stayed silent releasing only a huff of sigh confirming for Jimin that something was really wrong encouraging the blond boy to reach out to caresses his hand trying to be comforting and assuring

"you can tell me" and the pout on the other's mouth was visible more as he shook his head in disapproval making

"It's alright,"

If someone ranks the things Jimin is good at comforting someone would be at the top of them perhaps because he relates to pain at a deeper level "You know you can tell me anything I won't judge" Jimin brushes back the strand of hair that has loosened from the taller's tangled hair after finally blessing them with something nourishing, Jimin's movements were hesitant but not visible enough to get noticed by the raven head who was falling in the abyss of surprise and astonishment at how Jimin was still being gentle and kind to him even though he was a physical form of word disgusting

How can Jimin touch him without feeling disgusted, He raises his head to examine Jimin's face who was looking at him with a warm assuring smile and stars in his eyes that dazzled the monstrous man, how can he still smile at him and judge him when he looks so ugly and hideous maybe if he tells him his secret he won't judge him, a wave of hope stumble against the shore of his heart as his eyes reflected the galaxy of Jimin's eyes as he quickly rushed to remove the shackles from the pillar while Jimin gazed at him in confusion, he tugged at the robes signaling him to stand up who obeyed without a question even though his tongue was burning on thousands
