"don't we all." she looks up at rafe.
"then tell the truth." the tension was so thick it could be cut with a knife.
"i have to change and go downstairs before my parents get worried." she tries to walk to the clothes placed on his bed, but he walks in front of her.

"trust me my father can hold a conversation for hours."
"okay, fine. i'm attracted to you, but isn't every other girl?" she crosses her arms and he laughs to himself.

"okay, get changed. bathrooms right there." he points. gina grabs the clothes and goes into the bathroom. she changed and checks how she looks before walking out.

rafe looks her up and down.
"so can i have your number? so next time i can reach out to you in case you 'chicken out' again?"
gina laughs.
"yeah sure." rafe hands her his phone and she types her number in.

"alright, let's head back down." he swings his arm around her and they walk downstairs.

this catches the attention of a few adults, including gina's parents.

her dad seemed startled and her mom seemed angry. she speed walks to gina.
"did you sleep with your fathers new business partners son?" gina has a dumbfounded look on her face.
"who, rafe?"
"obviously!"
"no! someone spilled red wine on me and i had to change." she shows her mom her dress and her jaw drops.
"oh my." she takes the dress and gets a closer look.
"this dress was expensive." she says sounding defeated.
"sorry ma, i didn't get a good look at who did it." she nods.
"its okay."

gina's mom tells her father what happened and his face changed to a face of relief.

the girl from earlier walks up to her.
"hey can we talk?" she says and gina's parents nod for her to go.
"i'm so sorry for spilling that all over you." she once again apologizes.
"it's alright, no need to worry." gina smiles.

"so, you're apart of the claire's family?" she asks.
"yeah."
"cool, uh if you don't know.. my name is sarah. sarah cameron."
"nice to meet you. i'm gina." it was nice for there to be a girl around gina's age to talk to at this party.

"so, i'm assuming we're gonna be seeing eachother a lot since our parents are business partners now." gina says.
"yeah, my dad always invites his work friends and their family over."
"my dad does the same." they both share a little laugh.

gina looks around.
"do you want to ditch this party? it's full of old people." this got a few dirty looks thrown to her from the people that heard.
"i was hoping you'd say that. let me change into something. i'll be right back."

gina waits at the bottom of the stairs til' sarah comes down.
"let's head out." sarah tilts her head towards the door.
"i thought u said you were changing."
"it's under my dress."
"smart."
"thanks." sarah jokingly curtsies.

they walk out, making sure their parents aren't anywhere nearby.

"where are you two going?" they turn around and see rafe.
"yeah you couldn't be any quieter, could you?" sarah whisper-yells.
"sorry," he sarcastically says.
"but where are you two headed?" he walks closer and sarah rolls her eyes.
"none of your business." she says.

"but it could be rose and dads." sarah sighs.
"we're going on dad's boat." gina looks over.
"we are?" and sarah nods.
"i don't have a bathing suit."
"oh, we could just go to your house real quick."
"okay."

"can i come? that party is full of people with boring life stories." rafe exaggerates.
"fine." sarah starts walking, rafe and gina following behind her.
"so, can i ask a few of my friends to come?"
"no, rafe."
"i'll ask topper to come." this brightens sarah's face up.
"i guess we can manage..." she looks at gina and they share a look.
