with the beginning of the new year, ukiyo creative ceos, lim hankyeo, and yoo junho, held a press conference with the aim of giving insights to the public regarding the important parts of the company's plans for the year 2024.
the panel, alongside the ceos, consisted of department leaders and mentors kaiyo, rylan shin, as well as the leaders of the current active groups under the company: aelia captains aera and labelle, polaris leader fabin and c6x's leader ryumi, and lastly, ukiyo's currently only soloist, han jiseol.

"this year, we plan on releasing new [ magazine ] collections, basically the continuation of our already existing merch line. there is also a big event currently being planned for a very special occasion for us in ukiyo, which marks the first time within a year that our artists will get the chance to stand together on stage and collaborate," said yoo.
in addition to everything yoo mentioned, lim stated: "we also plan to push forward with plans that we didn't manage to fulfill last year, due to production issues. despite postponing and potentially canceling one of our dramas, we are currently working with a new production studio on ukiyo's first drama to be released. auditions will be held sometime within the first quarter of the year, giving the chance to the actors under the company to be in the spotlight."
both of ukiyo creative's ceos proceeded to reveal that fans can expect more debuts answering questions regarding the matter. as yoo confirmed: "there is already a group debut scheduled for the first quarter, while more debut line-ups are in the works, consisting of groups and soloists. though we can't reveal more, we can guarantee that they will play an important role in filling the missing parts of the ukiverse's lore."
when asked about the currently active artists and their comebacks, they all verified that fans can expect new comeback announcements from the company, as they're busy preparing their newest album releases with the company's producers and directors. aelia leaders, aera and labelle, also hinted towards the revelation of their final member before the group's long-awaited comeback. meanwhile, polaris' leader, fabin, verified that stages for the group's latest comeback with 'fear' as the title track, will officially commence during the first weeks of january.

the first 'hell edition' of ukiyo's merch line was released on june 17, 2023, with a complementary version, 'heaven edition' following right after. it seems to be focusing on ukiyo's debuted artists, and, despite the release dates not being confirmed, it is speculated to take place in the early months of 2024.
with mentors kaiyo and rylan hinting towards a concert for the up-and-coming event, fans have started to speculate the potential venues where something of a big scale like this can be held. with the currently active artists totaling up to 29 performers and over 85 trainees who can be part of the future lineups to participate in the event, fan communities are placing their bets on venues such as the gocheok sky dome in seoul, with a capacity of 25,000 spectators.
