One after another lava hit the ice.
it was as if luffy was all the way on
the other side of the battle field.
smoke started to fill the air but all y/n could see was
Luffy.
TERROR OR BRAVERY?
WHO'S TO BE THE REAL HERO
BOOM!
Luffy: Y/NNNN!
She was almost there.
Just a foot away.
BOOM!
Right between them. Y/n was blasted away.
She got up and looked for Luffy while sitting
there. Once she caught a glimpse of him on the
floor she ran for him. She then picked him
up and ran for Boars. That was the only escape.
But then the only thing she could see was smoke.
She stopped running, hearing the
bloody screams all around her.
She saw how red it was with the dark smoke.
She stood there with Luffy in her arms.
Y/n desperately looked left and right for an exit.
A place where luffy could be safe.
Just so she wouldn't lose another brother.
Not today.
Not tomorrow.
Not ever.
Luffy was to never die even if it cost y/n her life.
Suddenly it came into sight. She saw him.
Sitting in terror.
Watching as smoke covered the area. He had a
front row seat to it all. Ace. He must feel bad.
Y/n held luffy in her arms as smoke hadn't
covered where she was yet. She fell to her knees
sitting on the heels of her foot. She had her head
down as she cried. She couldn't save him. She
can even save her brother in her arms.
Luffy slowly woke up to feel water drops on his chest.
He looked up to see y/n crying.
He hugged her.
Luffy wasn't like his brother. He didn't know
how to tell someone it was going to be alright
when it was clear to everyone that it wasn't.
He only knew how to keep trying. But. This time
he couldn't. And neither could his sister.
The sister that so desperately wanted to save
everyone. That hated the amount of blood
shed on this battlefield. That had friends die
before her. That couldn't bare the pain any more.
He was at a loss.
All he could do was get up.
