Bonny Falu Losmotuin was going to die.

She knew there was no escaping Snow and his ways now.

The reaped girl looked over to her best friend and asked a question with her eyes. Silia knodded as she covered her mouth in an attempt to stop her wails from coming out.

Silia gave up and let her cries enter the silent crowd which was full of pity. With tears gushing down her friends reddened cheeks, Bonny Falu stepped out into the empty isle which lead up to the stage. She took a step with her head held high, trying her hardest to not let the camera get to close to her glossy eyes.

Anna Sepia turned to face Bonny Falu, but her older sister did not look her way, knowing she wouldn't be able to hold her tears in if she looked at her weeping sister.

As Bonny Falu climbed up the stage, a voice came out; wavering and emotional, but a voice it was.

"You can't take my past
You can't my history."

Another voice joined in, younger and more innocent.

"You could take my pa
but his name's a mystery."

Selia and Anna Sepia had followed Bonny Falu's plan. Despite chocking back tears, they had done it.
Now, it was Bonny Falu's turn to shock the people.

"Nothing you can take from me...
was ever worth keeping"

A slight pause could be heard, where she deliberated in her head whether there was any possibility of her making out alove if she carried on.

But she had a story to tell, and she would tell it no matter the cost.

"Can't take my charm
can't take my humour
you can't my wealth
'cause it just a rumour
Nothing you can take, was ever worth keeping"

Her voice was still slightly shakey, but as she gained more confidence in her action, she grew more powerful with her singing.

"You can't take my sass
you can't my talking
...
YOU CAN KISS MY ASS."

Bonny Falu smiled innocently after her last line, and took her place on stage, awaiting the male tribute to be called out.

"Right, well, onto the male tribute." Visulia stated nervously. She again swayed her hand around the bowl before picking a name that sat on the top of the pile.
"The male tribute for District 10 is...
Otto Hatcher!"

A stocky boy took his place on the stage, Bonny Falu thought he had to be older than eighteen. He gave her a stern growl as she looked up to him. Otto was very tall, muscular and fierce. The girl shaking this huge man's hand found it hard to believe that anyone but Otto could possibly win.

Just as they were all about to be escorted of the stage, Bonny Falu looked behind and saw Silia holding Anna Sepia in her arms. The two of them would drown in sorrow if Bonny Falu didn't come back, and she knew that she had to put up a fight. She knew she had to die in rememberence for her dearest Nana Lucy Gray, but not without showing what Bonny Falu's own life was worth.
She blew a kiss to her two sisters, which they tiredly caught with a goodbye smile. They knew she couldn't win, and although Bonny Falu knew she couldn't win either, she couldn't help but feel saddened when she saw her two best friends give up on her life so quickly.

Yet she was quickly pulled out of her trance when a peacekeeper started to shove her. Through her daze she just about caught from his powerful voice that there would be no visits to the tributes today, and they'd be sent straight onto the train to their death.
This was it, she'd never see District 10 again, never see her sister again, never see her best friend again, never see her parents again. She had only held a little hope that her parents would come to say goodbye personally, but she knew deep down that they wouldn't. Bonny Falu's parents weren't often around, they'd disappear for weeks and come back for a couple of days before heading off to their mysterious land once again after taking all of Bonny Falu's hard-earned food. Bonny Falu understood to a degree why they always left her and Anna Sepia alone, her Mother was Covey and her Father practically was too, and the Covey does like to travel around. But Covey also values family over anything else, like when the Covey nearly starved when her Nana Lucy Gray got reaped since they didn't perform at all when she was gone, because they were too distraught. The girl being taken to her death could only hope that Anna Sepia would keep it together and be able to feed herself and their Grandmother. She couldn't help but wonder what was wrong with Bonny Falu for her parents to seemingly have such a hatred towards her? It was something the girl would never understand, she accepted that long ago.

A middle-aged man greeted Bonny Falu and Otto. He was clearly a drunkard. Beside him stood an ederly woman, probabaly in her 80's, who looked like she could drop dead at any second.

"Well, powerhouse Otto Hatcher and songbird Bonny Falu Losmotuin. I'll tell you this now, there's only one of you who could possibly win the games." The middle-aged man said with a slight smirk. The ederly woman smacked him lightly on the arm, but he took no notice of her.
Bonny Falu knew the odds weren't in her favour. She wasn't there to win, but to make President Snow remember.
"And it's not going to be you, you can't sing your way out of death." Otto said scornfully as he looked down at the smaller girl. She also looked up at him, but instead of seeing a solemn face as he had expected, Otto saw the girl smiling gleefully at him before looking back towards their mentor.

"At least you've accepted your imminent death, I suppose. I'm Alaris, and this beauty is Victoria." He said sarcastically. "We're your mentors, that means you do anything we tell you to do. So, go jump around like monkeys!." He said, clapping his hands with excitement, showing off his clearly drunk state. His happy face quickly lead to disappointment when he saw the two childrens blank stares. Alaris muttered to himself, something about this year's lot being sad boring pricks, before walking off. Bonny Falu assumed it was to go drink his lonely life away, which she couldn't really blame him for. The older woman, Victoria, followed Alaris along with a disappointed look on her face.

Bonny Falu slumped down in the beautifully furnished red sofa. It was a deep red leather, and Bonny Falu couldn't help but feel comforted by the softest sofa she had ever sat on. In fact, it was the only sofa she had ever sat on, so there was really nothing to compare it to.
She straightened her back from her formerly hunched position when she saw Otto walking over to her. As she looked into his eyes, she knew that he'd have no problem in killing her, he'd possibly even enjoy it. He stood infront of her, towering over the sitting girl, yet he said nothing but stared down at her innocent eyes, which he could tell she was exaggerating to push his buttons. He huffed angrily, and turned away to exit the room.

The songbird let out a nervous breath as Otto stomped out of the carriage. Gathering her thoughts, her mind turned to alliances. Who would want to ally with a pathetic singing girl? Otto clearly didn't, but Otto seemed to even hate his own family, seeing the dirty look his face he gave, what Bonny Falu assumed to be, his brother when he was dragging his feet towards the stage. But she reminded herself thay it wouldn't matter of she had alliances or not, she's set to die anyways.
Even so, Bonny Falu still hoped that she could make President Snow reminisce on his past as well as survive the gruesome games that his Grandmother's past lover had ensured wouldn't end under his leadership.
All Bonny Falu could do was try her hardest. Hopefully, in return, the universe would let her live a peaceful life, and give quite the opposite life to Snow.
