Cordelia smile and shook Cami's extended hand. "I'm Cordelia, but you guys can call me Cordy" she said smiling. Both the blonde and brunette smiled to the raven haired girl and nodded.

"Come, please sit." Sophie said gesturing over to the bar chairs. "So you're looking for a job" she asked as all three headed towards the chairs. Sophie went around the bar and got a glass while Cordelia and Camille sat at the bar table beside each other .

Cordelia cleared her throat, "Um yeah, I'm new to town. Was strolling around when I saw the sign outside. Thought I would come in to see if it's available". Sophie placed a glass in front of the raven haired girl. Cordelia said thank you before picking up the glass and taking a sip.

"Well you're in luck, we'll need another bartender on hand so it's yours." Sophie said. "Say, are you hungry? I just finished making some gumbo". Cordelia nodded her head. "Please, that would be perfect. I'm starving" she replied, chuckling. Sophie nodded her head and pushed the swinging door that headed towards the kitchen.

"So where are you from?" the blonde asked. Cordy turned her head towards Cami. "I mostly grew up in Charlottesville, though I was born in Mystic Falls". Cami nodded her head. "How about you? Did you live here your whole life" Cordy asked.

Cami shook her head. "No, I actually just came here not too long ago. I'm from Baton Rogue. I was doing Psychology at the college before coming here".

Cordelia nodded, "Nice, I was actually a nursing student back home before coming here". Before she could say anything else, Sophie came back with three plates of gumbo, setting a plate each in front of them.

"God, I am stuffed" Cordy said patting her stomach. "That was amazing".

Sophie and Cami laughed. "Thanks. It's my specialty" the brunette smiled.

"So, what made you come here to New Orleans" Cami asked.

Cordelia signed and leaned back on her chair. "Hoping to learn more about my family." She started. "Well more about my father's side of the family. I never knew my father, and all I really know is that he was from here".

"You know where he lives?" Sophie asked.

"He's dead, actually" Cordelia replied.

"Sorry" both Sophie and Cami replied, but Cordelia shook her head.

"Don't be, I never knew him, but was hoping someone who knew of him could give me some sort of answers" Cordelia said sighing. Before anymore questions could be asked Cordelia looked the time. It was 3 O'clock. She had to get back home, she told her Grandma that she would call her and give her a weekly updated on what's been going on.
