Don't be near Mark/ Markhyuck

Part 37

Jaemin is surprised to see Donghyuck with a bloody forehead, he quickly runs towards the other, seeing him pale as he has never been before. Jaemin quickly takes Donghyuck in his arms and guides him to his car.

"God Hyuck what happened to you?" Jaemin asks, panicked.

"Nothing serious," Donghyuck replies. "Just a guy who punch me."

Jaemin bites his lip. He doesn't know if he's telling the truth. But he'll take his word for it for now. He quickly pulls out a compress and presses it against Donghyuck's forehead.

"Keep that pressed down," Jaemin says. "We're going to the doctor so he can stitch you up. You have a pretty big wound."

Haechan lets out a groan of pain. It's not really a pleasant sensation and he feels dizzy.

"Try to stay awake Hyuck, I know it's not easy, but you can do it."

"I don't feel good."

Jaemin drives as fast as he can, going to a doctor he knows well who can take him in an emergency. He casts a few quick glances at Donghyuck but sees that the other seems ready to leave at any moment.

He tells himself that he should pay a little more attention to his health. Donghyuck can be really fragile. He parks quickly and comes to help Donghyuck out, but he soon realizes that the other is unconscious.

Jaemin quickly heads inside to ask for help. As he walks in, he bumps into one of the staff members. He was about to fall backwards when he feels a hand hold him back.

He opens his eyes to see Jaehyun standing in front of him.

"Jaehyun?" Jaemin asks. "You're my luck, I need your help!"

"Why? I have to pick up Jisung from school," Jaehyun replies. "I just finished work."

"There's Donghyuck passed out in my car, so if I say you're coming to help me, you're coming to help me," Jaemin insists.

Jaehyun doesn't add anything, not wanting to anger the other even more than he already is. He quickly follows Jaemin and he sees Donghyuck lying on the seat with a bloody patch on his forehead.

"He needs stitches, it's bleeding too much," Jaehyun says.

"That's what I was thinking."

Jaehyun comes to carry Donghyuck and quickly takes him into one of the rooms before getting out the equipment.

"I didn't know you worked here," Jaemin says.

"I applied to be an intern here while I wait to go back to England," Jaehyun replies. "I'm allowed to do small interventions like this. Don't worry, just help me disinfect and clean all the blood he has."

Jaemin nods and quickly takes the equipment requested by Jaehyun. He comes to disinfect the other's wound. Jaehyun is a little relieved when he sees that it's not that deep. He begins to sew slowly.

Since Donghyuck is already unconscious, he doesn't waste time anesthetizing him.

"Jaemin, do you know his blood type?" Jaehyun asks. "We're going to have to give him a blood transfusion."

"Yes, we have the same blood type," Jaemin says. "I'll go get that."

"Tell the doctor to come at the same time," Jaehyun says.

Jaemin nods and goes to get everything. Five minutes later, the doctor is already in the room and has set up the transfusion. He tells Jaehyun that he's responded well, but as he's busy, he has to go back to work and asks them to call him if there are any problems.
