Chapter 11: Heart beat

It's midday and Lisa and I have nothing to do....so we decided to watch -the fault in our stars- which sounds just like us.
"Hey, Lisa..." I say.
" yes?" Lisa asks.
"Haven't you found it funny that we aren't really together but yet this movie describes us perfectly?" I stated
"yeah...I never really thought about it...so are we gonna be an item?" she asks.
"only if you want to," I say.
"than we are an item....hope you love me," she says.
"of course I love you," I say.
I wrap my arms around her and pull her close to me. As I held her close she lays her head on my chest.
"Tony?!" Lisa says concerned.
"yes baby," I say.
"are you supposed to have a heartbeat?" she asks.
"what? Don't be silly" I say. Lisa grabs my hand and places it on my chest. She isn't being silly, my heart is actually beating but it's not supposed to. I'm a vampire why is my heart beating
" Lisa go to the kitchen now," I say.
"why?" Asks Lisa.
"I'm opening the curtains," I say.
"be careful," Lisa says. Lisa goes to the kitchen and hides behind the bar, I look at the curtains and then grab them. I slowly pull them apart and the Sun starts shining on my skin and it burns slightly but doesn't hurt.
"it's the anti-sun," I say.
"what?!" Screams Lisa.
"it makes your heart beat so humans don't figure out your vampire and making your heart beat stops the burn," I say.
"am I safe to come out?" Lisa asks
"yes baby come on out," I say as I'm closing the curtains. We sit on the couch and start watching the movie.

By the end of the movie, Lisa has fallen asleep lying on me... before I know it I'm waking up to Lisa screaming...

"Tony!!!!!!!!!!" screams Lisa.
"Yes??" I ask.
"Wake up its time to go to dinner remember?"
"Oh, yeah I'm so so sorry baby am I dressed for it?"
"Your fine let's go!"
