1 year later.

NAVYA'S POV:-

"Are you ready?" Samaira asked me.
"Yes, I am," I replied, coming out of the room.

"Have you guys made a list of everything to buy?" my dad asked me. "Yes, I've noted everything down, and now let's go," I said, to my sister while picking up my bag. "Try to come home early," my mom said, to which I nodded my head in agreement.

Then, Sam and I left the house.
Today, Sam and I are going for my wedding shopping.

Yes, I am getting married.

Flashback.............

"When I returned home from the trip, Dad told me that if I don't agree to this marriage, he won't give me dadu locket, and I couldn't abandon dadu's last token like that. So, I said yes to this marriage. What's the point of refusing repeatedly? After all, one day, I will have to get married, and what's the use of creating so much drama.

Honestly, I wasn't happy at the beginning because I had no idea who I was getting married to. But when I met him for the first time, my entire perception got changed about him. His name is Abeer Sharma, and he works in the IT sector. When we first met, I found him quite nice. He isn't like a fictional character, but he's good as he is. The thing I like the most about him is that every time we met, he never made me feel uncomfortable.

Four months ago, during our engagement, he asked about my preferences. For the first time in my life, someone asked me what I want.

After the engagement, we went on many dates, and whenever we met, he always brought me flowers because I had once mentioned that I love flowers. Sometimes, I can't believe that all this is true.
