Loki and Sylvie had been working and living together at TVA for some time. They're the main reason conditions there have improved so dramatically. Everyone who wanted to stay there even had their own home. It wasn't just endless work and responsibilities anymore.

Even Loki and Sylvie had their own apartment there. Each their own, even though they were with one of them most of the time anyway and had practically been living together for a while. The catch was that they tried to keep the fact that they were together a secret. They didn't want it to be known at work, they didn't want to have to explain anything to anyone. And to make it look believable, they tried to make TVA think that they hated each other and didn't get along.

At 7:00 a.m. the alarm clock started ringing in the bedroom. It was a very unwelcome awakening. Sylvie was lying snuggled against Loki's chest and both of them were still deep in midnight.

Loki was the first to wake up after a moment of annoying ringing. "We have to get up," he muttered. Sylvie just grunted and didn't move. Getting up was one of the things she absolutely hated. "Sylvie..." He tried again, though he didn't feel like going anywhere either. Sylvie grumbled again, rolling off him onto her side and hugging the covers, leaving Loki all exposed. He had to laugh at that and snuggled into her from behind. "Baby, we really have to," he kissed her shoulder.

"I'm not going to work today..." she muttered.

"Not even if I ask you too hard?"

"Mmmm... maybe?"

His pleading consisted of kissing her neck. And as he hugged her, he began to stroke her naked body as they both fell asleep naked. This was definitely starting to wake her up, and in other ways as well.

"Do you think this will help?" She squirmed in his arms.

"Maybe... you can remember it later at work when you have to be mean to me and can't snuggle with me like this..."

"But we'll make up tonight?"

"Of course... as always..."

Sylvie chuckled and fled from his bed to the bathroom. Loki just gasped as he didn't expect her to disappear so quickly. He had to chuckle at that and after a moment he made his way to the bathroom as well. They preferred to shower separately and half an hour later they were brushing their teeth side by side. Loki was the first to disappear from the bathroom, only to go make breakfast for Sylvie.

Twenty minutes later, Sylvie was gorging herself on a mountain of pancakes while Loki gazed at her dreamily. He hadn't eaten breakfast himself, but at least he'd had coffee. Sylvie, on the other hand, had managed to eat an incredibly large breakfast.

"Are you sure you don't want some? It's soooo good!"

"No, I'm perfectly happy just looking at you." Sylvie paused with her fork in front of her mouth so she looked at him. "What?" He laughed.

"You can't look at me when I'm eating breakfast like this."

"Why not?"

"Because it's not polite."

"Maybe... But I can't stop looking at you." He smiled.

Sylvie thought about it briefly. " Mmm. I'll take that as flattery."

"It certainly is!" He leaned in to kiss her, but just before he did, he ducked and took a bite from her fork.

"You cheeky bastard!" She scolded him, but it made her laugh at the same time. Then he stole a kiss from her as well. "You're lucky I have a soft spot for you..."
