Vidhi's POV
When I found out that Varun was not my boss, I felt bad. And then the new boss called me, I went and knocked there. When his stern voice came from the room "come in". when I got in I was shocked to see the person it was non other than Ishaan. He is my boss. It was a blessing in disguise. He was smirking at me the whole time. His face had not changed, he still had the cuteness and charming smile. But I didn't deserve him. I am the one who hurt him. I will not be the reason for his sadness anymore. Thinking about him, I moved towards my room when suddenly a knock appear on the door
"Good morning Varun sir" I said getting up from my desk
"Good morning Vidhi, I told you that don't call me sir. I am like your friend"
"Sorry ok Varun do you need something?"
"Yep, I need something from you" he said smiling
"What do you want?"
"Umm.. I was thinking that would you like to go on a dinner with me?" he said shyly touching his neck
"Okay, that's a nice idea. It has been years since I wanted to have dinner with someone" I said excitedly
"Thankyou I will fetch you from your house at 7 sharp"
"Okay"
At home, I was thinking what should I wear, so I called him to get to know that where we were going so that I could decide what to wear.
"Hello "
"Hi Vidhi"
"What place are we going for dinner?"
"It's a fancy restaurant but why'd you ask?"
"I'm unable to decide what to wear, so I thought of asking you about the location so that I will dress according to it"
"Oh okay, I think you should wear a simple gown"
"Thanks for the idea, I have one"
"The pleasure is all mine"
"Bye"
I took the dark blue gown and changed into it. I did my hair wavy and did light makeup and put on my heels and took purse and waited for him. He arrived and we moved towards the restaurant. We ordered our food and started chatting
"Btw you look so beautiful in this dress!" he said making me blush
"Thankyou even you are looking handsome"
"Thanks"
"It's a nice place. I loved it"
"It's my favorite place, it's the best restaurant in the world"
"Can we play a game?" I said excitedly
"Hmm sure which one?"
"Umm...10 questions?"
"Hmm okay"
"I'll go first"
"Okay go ahead"
"If you could travel to any year in a time machine, what year would you choose and why?" I asked curiously
"I would like to travel 10 years back to meet my mom. I love her so much. I was 14 when she left me and dad alone" a lone tear slipped from his eyes but he quickly wiped it
"Oh I am sorry, don't be sad she is with you always, and will be forever in your heart" I caressed his hands softly
"Hmm, now it's my turn. What's one of the most fun childhood memories you have?"
"There was once when my brother and I were playing with flour. When my mom and dad came, my mom started scolding me when my dad poured flour on her head and they both started playing with us. It's one of the best memories of my childhood. We enjoyed ourselves a lot that day"
"What's your favorite movie to watch over and over again?"
"I like The Notebook and I can watch it over and over again"
"Oh, so you are in romantic movies. That's impressive. I rarely see any guy who likes romantic movies rather the Avengers or Spiderman"
"What's your biggest regret?" when he asked this question I was stunned. I didn't know what to say.
"I.... M...y" I was shuttering so much
"Mam and Sir here is your food" the waiter interrupting at the right time. Thank God
We had our dinner with light gossip and then he dropped me at my home.
