King Kion and Queen Rani's Love

Chapter 5: Rani's Worries

Kion wakes up to a stressful morning, where Rani seems unhappy and disturbed. Despite his concerns he tried to offer comfort.

"Good Morning Rani, what's wrong?" Kion asked

"I just... need some time to think" Rani replied

"Why what's going on?" Kion asked again starting to become worried

Before Rani could speak Bunga walked in again but this time in a hurry to get Kion with news that the leopards are back

"KION! The leopards they're back, and there's more of them." Bunga shouted

"Again!" Kion said beginning to have enough of these leopards

Kion and Rani both rushed outside to see the leopards swarming the Tree and The Lion Guard and Night Pride preventing them from getting any closer.

"Oh hey Kion nice seeing you again." The leopard said with a smirk

"I thought I told you not to come back!" Kion said with an aggressive tone

"You think I take orders from you?" The leopard said as he chuckled. The leopard noticed Rani walking out from behind Kion

"You're just lucky we didn't finish her off." The leopard said trying to make Kion mad as he knew all about the scar. Kions scar was starting to take over but then he realised that this is also a part of his training and stays calm

"I'm not gonna fight you." Kion said trying to stay calm.

"Uh.. Kion are you forgetting that you have the roar?" Bunga said confused as to why Kion hasn't roared them far from the Tree Of Life already.

"I know Bunga, but not everything has to end in violence." Kion replied

"Little old Kion is scared to the roar." The leopard said in a mocking tone

"The name's Leo by the way and this is my crew." The leopard added

Kion is beginning to have enough of the leopards and he desperately trying to stop the scar from taking over his mind. Matuso, Selia and Wilpo came running down to join the fight and help Kion.

"Matuso?" Leo was shocked to see Matuso

"I thought I told you to make sure that you had gotten rid of these three!" Leo said in a furious state

"They were too fast we couldn't keep up with them." The leopards explained

Wilpo's anger started to fill as he was looking at the leopards who killed his parent right in front of him. He lashed out at Leo pinning him to the ground, everyone else quickly joining in.

Everything goes silent as Kion roars and grabs everyone's attention.

"I've had enough. Leo take your crew and leave the Tree Of Life. This is your last chance!" Kion said

Kion could tell that Leo and his crew weren't going to back down that easy. Kion started to pick up the scent of another leopard but he didn't pick it up quick enough because the leopard managed to tackle Rani and pin her down to the ground. Kion quickly got the leopard off of her.

"That's as far as you'll get!" Kion said as Rani kicked the leopard towards the group of leopards.

Clouds started to form from behind Kion as he roared at them and they were long gone.

"You could have just done that earlier." Bunga mumbled

"Those leopards keep coming back." Rani said

"Yeah, and we need to make sure that they stop coming back." Kion replied
