CHRISTMAS IN A NEW TOWN

chapter twelve

Toni went out early on Christmas Eve, for no particular reason  she just went into town, not many businesses were open at that time,  while some businesses  have the open sign up, Toni went looking around picking up a few things dropping in her bag this way her trip here won't feel so wasted,   by then Dorothy's lounge was open, for she came early she was with Hariel trying to fix a little decorations for the coffee lounge since it's Christmas Eve they wanted the place looking good,
When Toni walked in Hariel screamed and ran to her,
Toni laugh with joy opening her arms to welcome her,
They share a tight hug
"Hi Dorothy" Toni greets
"Hello Toni, how are you dear?"
"Just passing by" Toni said she look around for Eddie but he wasn't insight,  she went further where Dorothy sort some fabric for the table tops
"I'm trying to see how well I can arrange these table before anyone start coming in" Dorothy said without Toni asking,
"Need a little help?" Toni asked
"Yes dear I'll appreciate it" Dorothy said
Toni look around the space and thought of flowers she took up her bag "I'll be back" she told Dorothy, she turn to Hariel"coming?" She asked
Hariel ran to her side quickly,
They just left when Eddie came back to the lounge, "where's Hariel?" He asked
"She went somewhere with Toni" Dorothy answers
"Toni she came so early?" Eddie asked
"Yes dear" Dorothy said
Eddie look puzzle "what for" he asked
"She said she was passing through"
"Passing through?" Eddie echo in question
"Yes dear and  she's going to help me arrange these tables she just says she will be right back"
Eddie look around on the tables that were bare except for the one that has all the materials pack on to it within a hour the place will open and it's Christmas Eve, he wondered why his grandmother didn't start doing something to them from the day before hoping that it will be done on time, he still puzzles why she was in town so early he even believe her husband had came overnight and she came to get something for him,
The door ding and Eddie lift his head to see who,
Toni came back with Hariel she walked in to see Eddie and pause to admire him, her body shiver at his sight marveling at his early morning charm masculinity and his freshness
"Morning" Eddie said when Toni stood looking at him and didn't greet him,
"Morning yourself" Toni said going by him as if not wanting to rub on him,
Eddie turn and look at her,
She gave him a look,
A look Dorothy didn't miss the way they stare at each other lovingly,
"Is there an extension card somewhere" Toni asked, turning from Eddie to look at Dorothy,
She had  some things to fix the table tops flowers and some pots, two door plant,  she bought an iron as well,
"Oh yes I got an extension in the back"
"I'll get it" Eddie said he left and came back to give it to Toni after plugging it, Toni plugged the iron  in and started to work right away with some help from Hariel Eddie stood leaning on a table watching her each time she turned he was looking at her she continue to do  what she was doing and for that time Eddie didn't take his eyes away,
"Move away" Toni said when she comes over to the table where he was to fix it she spread one of the cloth Dorothy provided and add nice mats and flowers to it it was purple and green setting with grey mats to tap it off
"And stop focusing on me so much it makes me nervous, very nervous"
Eddie grin,
Dorothy look at them unknowingly
"Don't you have somewhere to be?" Toni asked
Eddie widen his eyes his forehead wrinkle up  and his dimples showing with nice white teeth he make her trimble, she turn and walk away leaving him in the middle of the room, he turn and watch her walking away, she did the last two tables then was done,
"Thank you so much" Dorothy clap her hands together and marvel at the looks of things "thank you so much Toni,"
"You're welcome, I have to go now see you all  later" Toni said taking up her bag "later Hariel" she said poking Eddie slightly in the gut,
He giggle holding it
Toni was at the door when she turn to look at him,
"Later dear" Dorothy said
"Later Toni" Hariel said
She lift her hand for a wave she left with the door swinging behind her,
Dorothy look at her grandson please face and widen her eyes,
The very first customer came at nine thirty when the place was fully open coming to get coffee, he was a regular who came in for coffee and some sweet treats he shop on the other side as well he never stop to say much he mind his own business but this morning he said "wow very nice setting I think I'll sit and have my coffee" he said
Dorothy smile Eddie and Hariel serve him while Dorothy went to attend to someone in the grocery lounge,
Toni look around a little more before going home she went into a toy store and saw a toy dog that moves it was a battery function toy that works with remote, she think it was cute and bought it thinking of playing a trick on Hariel she would put this under the tree for her and see her reaction, she smile as she wondered how she is going to react,
"Your wife going to spend her Christmas by herself?" Emma asked Chris look at her and she smile, "it's funny I haven't heard her call you, she's still in LA?"
"Yeah" Chris answers "she haven't call since I learn she's not home"
"She'll come when she's ready, maybe she's out trying to see how she can find away to get pregnant, she must be pretty hard on herself" Emma said coming to sit on Chris she was naked as she did so,
"I think she blames me" Chris said holding her to him,
"Why would she you're able she's not" Emma said
She couldn't tell by rights who has the problem Chris didn't get her pregnant it was someone else a man she met on line for a blind date they met and sleep together for he had promised her so much they had it off at a bed and breakfast inn in town she was sick the next morning she woke up and she haven't gotten back to that man since he wasn't even on the social page she had met him she did a little digging on the name it didn't match him at all the name match an older man from long beach in new york she went to see him but he had no clue who that person was, it was good thing she was seeing Chris at the time they work together and they had a close working relationship when he is going through a problem he tells her and she try to be nice with her words one might he came an they made love, they started before she went to meet that other man now she is living comfortable because of Nellie,
Tony didn't bother to do any changing of any drapes or no such thing she had only put these up the other day so she dust where needed and wipe the same by four she took a shower and got dress to go out again, she was just getting dress when Angela called she dress while talking, she hang up from Angela when Nicky called he haven't seen her in a month or event talk to her,
Make Toni wonder what type of friend she his, she should at least call she and Angela together have the best relationship but by all means she and Angela were like two pea in a pod
"I'm in Houston" Toni said
"What girl Texas who do you know in Texas?" Nicky asked
"My God mother" she said but didn't give any more details,
"That's sweet I hope you enjoy your stay"
"I am it's good"
"And your husband?"
"Busy as a bee, so what you doing?"
"Oh I see, well I'm out enjoying Manhattan"
"Go a head girl" Toni said
They laughed
Talk to you later"
"Be good now" Nicky said
"For ever and for always" Toni said
Nicky giggle
They hang up
Just as Nicky was crossing the street she bump into a woman walking next to a man holding a kid she didn't notice at first it was Emma Thousand that work a long side Chris Toni's husband she turn to look and to see who it was, when they look around she saw it was Chris he stop to look at her as if he was surprised to run into her it's been so long since she saw Chris for when they gathered for thanksgiving he was spending it with his family and Toni was a lone with them, Angela had host it at her family, now Christmas is only some hours away and  Toni is in Texas Chris is with Emma she know they work together but this didn't seems work related, she and Chris didn't share that kind of relationship like the one that they talk friendly to say his wife is her good good friend, she wondered if Toni wasn't telling her something she might not share with her like with Angela but she told her of the problems she can't get pregnant and her husband is angry but if something further accore she didn't know, Chris look back to see Nicky watching he hisses making Emma turn too,  Nicky walked away leaving it like it is,
Toni call Franky she can't believe she didn't send him anything but she send a gift for Vincent she was close with both but franky was more die hearted she went on line and quickly she find something to order they said within two hours it's a little after five like she had did she send it from her home address a part from Nicky and Angela she tell no one she was in Texas she might go home after the new year but she was spending it here, she went ahead and have a small gift delivered to Nicky as well some thing she can share with her husband
Peggy walk by Eddie and cross her eyes at him she grumble something
"Peggy" Eddie called
Peggy held her hand up to shush him in to silence
Dorothy watch as it transpired
"Two large  cups of black coffees, one  extra extra sweet" she ordered
Dorothy serve it to her and she turn to leave
Toni was coming in just when she was going out, Peggy notice right away who it was, she frowned and hissed seeing her,  because she has both hands full Toni saw her coming and held the door open she walked out "no thank you, don't do mi any favors bitch" she left the spot Toni smile, she walked over to Eddie "your woman is out of control" she said
Eddie shook his head,
Toni left him there and went to Hariel and Dorothy who seems to need the extra hand so she help them out, she was feeling all worked so she got from around the counter and went to walk the streets Hariel behind her,by they got back few more people were in the lounge on both side
Noah spot her and turn to Eddie, "your woman is looking absolutely beautiful tonight" he said
"She's not my woman" Eddie said
"Don't say that for her to hear it's going to sound rude she already gave it up"
Jack laugh
Eddie bounce him
He shrugged
Noah smile,
Dorothy shook her head,
"Who is she?" Vickram asked
"That's Eddie's sugar plum" Noah said
Eddie didn't say anything
"Hi Noah" Toni said coming up to greet them, "jack" she said"hi" she acknowledged the guy she didn't know,
"Hi" Vickram said
Toni smile at him
"Toni this is Vickram" jack said
"Oh nice to meet you live the name" Toni said
Vickram smile he nods, "nice to meet you too"
"Same here" Toni said she left them there and their eyes follow her away Toni got to the counter and turn they were with some women, three of them  talking and laughing one next to Noah, another next to jack and one with Vickram,
They were there for sometime when they left all seven of them Toni wonder to where Eddie was going with them if he's going to meet someone she left and went out into the street but didn't spot them anywhere, she went back inside she wasn't having much fun but having Hariel around was good,
"Merry Christmas," Toni said leaning over to kiss Hariel

Her giggles were so sweet Toni couldn't help to giggle too, "I'll buy you a milkshake" Toni said getting up to go across the street to the milkshake stand, they talk and giggle like two children as  they went out in the street to get themselves milkshake  before crossing back going inside to sit down,  now and then they went for a walk to see what was happening then goes back to sit around and help Dorothy at some point,
Eddie left the guys at about two  o'clock and went back to the lounge things had calmed down there and Dorothy was about ready Hariel was getting tired and sleepy so they locked up to go,
Dorothy thank Toni for helping, drive safely," she said but Toni didn't feel like going as yet but with Eddie leaving there was no point in staying
""See you tomorrow" Toni said
They were seated in the van Eddie tried to start it but it wasn't starting,
"Is something wrong with it dad?" Hariel asked
Toni pulled closer
"I'm going to check it out"
It was the cooling system that wasn't working and his van was auto so it couldn't start it would take him some time and it was almost three in the morning
"I can drop you" Toni said
"I'll get Noah to it's already so late"
"It's ok it's Christmas Eve most people won't be going home tonight I'll be fine getting back"
By this Hariel was hucked to her
Eddie and Dorothy finally agreed for it was pretty late too,
The drive to Eddie's house was quiet every now and then Eddie and Toni look at each other Toni would give a smile but there was something in Eddie's eyes that make Toni felt shaken, she dropped them at home, Dorothy thank ger bid good bye and left fir her room, Hariel had fallen asleep so Toni  accompany Eddie with her up to her room she help him to change her and fix her into bed,
They both stood over her bed watching her sleep
They had only just got in from the Christmas Eve mascaraed, Toni had drove them home for Eddie had car trouble he had left the van in the lounge parking to go pick it up in the morning, Eddie knew it wouldn't cool for tonight and was kind of glad for that he felt he didn't want to be away from Toni tonight neither wanted the night to end without a little time together,
"She's such a beautiful girl" Toni said
"She really is" Eddie said with a chuckle,
Toni look at him,
He smile "kids are so adorable" he said
"Toni nod "they are" she said she sigh deeply
"What?" Eddie asked
"I'm unable at have children" she said
Eddie widen his eyes,
Toni nod seeing his expression
"I'm sorry I didn't know" he said
"Me too I'm sorry for I wanted children"
They look at each other,
Eddie did look rather handsome the look in his eyes make her felt something move inside of her some rather magnetic a magnificent feeling of wants she turn away to look back at Hariel sleeping, she try to remind herself she's married she did love her husband but what she's feeling for Eddie was far too sincere,
"You know you and your husband can consider adoption" Eddie said
Toni had told him she was married he knows that from day one from the very day they met,
Meeting with him was like a God sent for it turns out he was the man she needed to help her around the place, she was looking for the electrician but it turns out he wasn't just the best  electrician but he could do just about anything that included sex he make love like a real man and Toni didn't regret getting into bed with him,
He had help her with her garden now she has the most beautiful garden in town, he help her to get the place ready within two weeks and he haven't took a cent then he went a head and brought her in a beautiful Christmas three since she had decided to stay a little more, he has  decorated the front porch and the only favor he asked was last Saturday to stay a little while with his grandmother and daughter Toni knew he didn't have to asked her to stay for they would be fine,
She haven't heard from her husband since that Monday she didn't went home but since then he haven't called and she reluctantly don't either,
Toni smile "I wish it as that easy" she said
"You haven't discussed it?" Eddie asked
"Well... My husband doesn't seems to want that" Toni said
"Really why not?" Eddie asked
"It won't feel the same" Toni said
"It's just a pity" Eddie said sighing
Hariel turn in her sleep
Toni  figured they were disturbing her rest ,
"I don't know what else to do" Toni said in a whispered she  admit she was out of options she took his hand to lead him out the room Eddie turn the door they stood by it talking
"Maybe you should see another doctor" Eddie said
"I have considered it once but" she shrugged
"Can't fine any?" Eddie asked
"You know of any" she asked
Eddie shook his head
They stood smiling at each other Eddie lean in and his lips claimed her's kissing her a deep wet kiss,
Toni moan beneath his lips she was loving the feel of it, she  hug his neck, she forgets that doing this with another man was call fornication for she's cheating on her husband, it wasn't once for they done it before twice before she's not going to lie it was good and she love it,
"I want you Eddie" Toni said almost screaming it, Eddie pulled her into his bed room where they make the sweetest love, she come to a quick climax for Eddie was giving all of him to her all she wanted they bonded so tightly breathing each other air "Toni you're so amazing" he said you're so sweet he said rubbing her all over his lips pressing on her body, She felt every touch and every kiss making her wants him more, she couldn't resist the feeling the wonderful feeling he gave to her, it was more than she desired
Eddie roll away after that a mazing round, after a while of making love to her one they both were please with
"Whoooo!" Eddie said letting out a hard breath, "girl you're worth it" he said
Toni's heart was pounding hard she lay trying to catch her breath she lift her head to look at him  she was feeling overwhelmingly good much as she keeps on telling herself this isn't right what she was doing but this man sure got her feeling different his love so good she wants more,
Toni roll to her side facing Eddie her hand slide down to his belly to hold his penis in her palm, she lift her head to him they both went in for a kiss, she lift her body off the bed laying on him,
"More?" Eddie asked
"More" Toni whispered as she kiss him sucking on his lips then his chest sliding down kissing as she move a long his nipples

Toni smile at him
He nods "I'm not ashamed to tell you how good they feel, she giggle doing as he requires she could tell his sensitivity towards them the way he reacted to them the way his hips move it was magnificent.

Toni lift her head she smile at him, "too please" she said she let her head fall once again she was tired and falls a sleep next to him, he lay hugging her until he too falls a sleep,
Toni open her eyes and hour later after falling asleep looking at Eddie laying next to her his arms across her hugging her while he sleeps, she remember the magnificent night and smile it was one amazing night she'll not forget she will never forget any of the moment share with him, but she didn't want to stay for his daughter and grandmother were sleeping somewhere close by and she want to leave before they woke, she had a gift for Hariel and thought of leaving it when she's going but she wants to see her reaction too so was hoping to bring it later,
Gently she ease Eddie's hand away got out the bed and dress herself, she left the room creeps out in order not to wake him, the house was silent except for the Christmas tree playing quietly a Christmas gingle, she took her time going down the stairs,
Eddie turn and realized that Toni wasn't in the room he thought she was using the bathroom but on checking she wasn't there he got in his pants to go out the bedroom,
Toni was sneaking out the front door when a voice called out, "Toni" she heard
Frighteningly she turn to see Hariel standing there in the kitchen doorway waving and smiling at her and Dorothy standing behind her,
Just then Eddie was coming down the stairs
Toni sigh straighten up and gave a shy smile, "Hi" she said
"Merry Christmas Toni" Dorothy said
"Merry Christmas Dorothy" Toni said
Hariel come and hug her, "Merry Christmas Toni" she said
Toni kiss her forehead "Merry Christmas baby girl
Hariel smile at her then ran to her dad they share a hug
"Merry Christmas dad"
"Merry Christmas" Eddie kiss her softly going over to his grandmother he kiss her on the cheek and wish her merry Christmas
Dorothy smile, "merry Christmas my dear"
"I'll see you" Toni said trying to run out the door,
"Toni dear don't leave stay for breakfast it make no sense spending Christmas morning having it a lone" Dorothy said convincing Toni to stay
"I have breakfast with my plants they need watering" Toni said
"One morning away won't hurt them come on join us"
"Alright I will but I  have a gif for Hariel in my van let me go get it"
"Another gift?" Hariel asked grinning
Toni nod and pinched her cheek
Eddie believe it was the dog she told him about,
She went and get the bag the thing inside was moving and there was a sound coming from it Hariel believe it was the pup she wanted it was even moving when Toni puts it on the ground Hariel was glad for she think it's her dog,
"It's moving" she said
"You should get it out" Toni said
Hariel held the box Toni stop it from moving so she could open it, she was too excited about the puppy and tore the box but it was only a battery function toy, she didn't show her disappointment and thank Toni for her gift,
Eddie wonder if she had changed her mind and didn't get her the pup she said she would,
Hariel held Toni's arm and they went in to have breakfast they walked a head of Eddie who widen his eyes at Toni when she looks at him,
They eat Toni remained silent while Eddie and Dorothy decided on dinner
"Thanks for breakfast" Toni said "I'm going to say goodbye"
Breakfast was finish and she have things to get done at home she was going to fix somethings for Christmas dinner and is going to have to come back down here by three,
"Hold a minute" Dorothy said getting up from the table, she went into the living room come back to hand Toni a gift one she open right away it was a nice home warming gift a bathroom set it was nice and she love it,
"Thank you all so much I love my gift" she said cuffing Hariel's cheek
Hariel smile
"See you later at three" Dorothy said "merry Christmas"
Toni smile she look at Eddie as she was turning to leave, "see you later"
"I'll walk you out" Eddie said
They walk to the living room with Hariel following behind they went out the door and it close behind them, she stood watching from the window Dorothy comes up behind her looking out on them too,
Eddie and Toni stood by her  van Eddie held her should Toni smile  at him,
"Thanks for last night, your love was amazing, it wasn't just last night I'm complementing you about your love is perfect" Eddie said
She smile shyly letting her head fall,
"It's true" he said lifting her cheeks he kiss her took  her face in his palm her palm at his waist as they share another deep  kiss,
"Come from here" Dorothy said to Hariel "you should not be watching your father"
Hariel look up at her with a smile,
They move away from the window and Dorothy went to the kitchen leaving Hariel on the floor of the living room
"I should go now" Toni said easing Eddie away" I don't want last night to be repeated it's self right here on this front lawn" she whispered "im crazy about you" she said tapping his chest
Eddie nod smiling he held her fingers squeezing them abit, "see you at three" he said chuckling he kiss her fingers
She nod touch his chest she then got in her van he watch her drove away she hunk the horn he wave turn and went inside.
