"...Prior to Ashoka's reign, Buddhism was a small sect struggling to gain adherents. After Ashoka sent missionaries to foreign countries carrying the Buddhist vision, the small sect began to grow into the major religion it is today. ....." I explained to one of my students. The rest are still writing their answers on the test paper. She nodded and went back to her class.

"OK class. time is up, everyone stop writing." I said after twenty minutes and started collecting test papers from students and with that, I walked out of the class and went to the next class.

After attending all the classes in my schedule today, I sat down on my chair in one of the labs to check the answer sheets, as I had to wait for my friend. While checking for more than thirty minutes my phone started ringing. I picked up the call without looking at it.

"Hello," I mumbled checking the papers.

"Sorry Yushi, we can't meet today. My brother just informed me that he will arrive soon, so I have to be at home to welcome him, you know mom had gone to Rameswaram." My friend of two years, Adhira Reddy said making me stop checking the sheets.

"Okay, no problem, we will meet tomorrow. Also, just text me after reaching home." I mumbled putting my phone between my ear and shoulder, and put all the papers in my designated almirah, and walking towards the parking towards my car. MG 5 Sedan, my sister recently gifted me this, even after declining it so many times, but she never listens.

My family consists of so many people, me, Yushika Panchal, a history assistant professor; my dad, Mr. Akash Panchal, is a vice associate president of a finance company; my mom, Mrs. Meera Panchal, a housewife; my elder brother, Atharva Panchal, district court judge; my sister-in-law, Mrs. Kritika Panchal, runs her own consulting firm; their two-year-old baby, Aarav Panchal, my elder sister, Prisha Panchal, seven-month pregnant business woman; my brother-in-law, Mr. Yash Vardhan Chowdhary, IPS. My grandparents, Mrs. Ganga Devi and Mr. Ranjan Panchal. My both uncle and aunt live separately in their own house beside ours.

I play radio today as I'm not in the mood to listen to those songs again. And heard the RJ playing a prank on someone by calling them. After driving for more than twenty minutes, almost halfway away from my apartment on this busy road of Chennai, my car started producing a weird sound, I parked my car at the side of the road and came out of my car.

"Shit!" I hiss kicking the now punctured tyre. I took out my phone to call the mechanic but cursed seeing the low battery.

I dialed the nearest mechanic and asked him to come soon and cut the call. After waiting for 10 minutes or so the mechanic arrives and after checking the tire, he,
