James' POV

I got up at about half nine, and looked to Ri's side out the bed, noticing her absence. This was no concern though as she usually wakes up before me. Sometimes she'll go out before I wake up and leaves a note when she does so, and today was no exception. I love when she leaves me notes. I love her so much.

The note read-

Jay-

I had to go out to pick something up. I should be home within the next hour or so. I love you so much, and I'll see you soon.

Ri-

I love you you too babe. I thought to myself smiling. More than she'll ever know. I would do anything for her. Anything.

then I got myself probably up, then headed for a shower. I do like a nice hot shower, but they are always better with my girl. Well though everything's better with her. Everything.

After the shower I got changed and had a quick bowl of cereal. I checked the time on my phone, Riley should be home any second now. I love days like this. Days when we don't have any plans, so we just spend the whole day together.

I decide to watch some TV while waiting for her to get home, there was nothing really good on, so I just put F•R•I•E•N•D•S on Netflix. It's Ri's favorite show, and it's grown to be mine now to because of her.

Whilst watching the TV I decided to call Riley to see how close she was. Usually when I call her she answers right away, but she didn't today. I figured that she must have just been driving.

It was another half hour and Riley still wasn't home. I was starting to get seriously worried. I texted her to ask if she was ok, and I called her too when she didn't answer the text right away. She answered the phone this time, which was a massive relief.

"Hey," she said.

"Ri! You ok?" I ask.

"Yeah I'm fine, I'll be home soon."

"Babe, where are you?" I ask, still concerned for her.

"I'll tell you at home." she responds.

"Good, you're ok though?" I repeat, hearing her beautiful laugh on the other end.

"Yes, I promise I'm fine Jay. And I love you." she tells me.

"Love you too Ri!" I respond, than she ended the call.

After a little while, Riley finally came home.

I was in our room plugging my phone in when I heard the sound of the door opening. Causing me to run out of the room to greet her at the door.

"Hey!" I say walking up to her and I saw as she smiled when I walked towards her.

"Hi, good morning," Ri responded, as this was the first time that I had seen her today. Unless you count like midnight this morning.

"So, where were you?" I ask her.

Riley's face made it look as though she was scared. Which scared me. Instead of responded she just lent towards me, kissing me. Which of course, I had excepted, it seemed as though she need it. I pulled away all too quickly, but I need to find out what's wrong with my girl, so I can help her.
