Chapter 7- Gryffindor vs Slytherin, quidditch match

Start from the beginning

I looked at my lap in shame, having my bag packed and nothing else to use as an excuse. "Because you're really pretty." I whispered as quietly as I could on purpose. "didn't hear you!" he said, leaning closer to me with a knowing smile and a hand cupped around his ear to hear better.

I bent closer to his ear. "I think you're really pretty." I whispered plainly in his ear, and then pulled away. I had a little soft, still embarrassed, smile on my face. Surprisingly, Kachan did too. "Thankyou. I try."

I giggled. "I can tell." Kachan stared at me. Like, he wasn't hiding it, he just stared at me with some sort of dreamy and relaxed smile on his lips.

That night, I went to sleep as happily as I could be. It was a successful day, I'd say. I get closer to Kachan every day.

-the next day, Saturday-

I woke up with a stretch. What day was it again? Oh, Saturday... that's- Kachan's quidditch match! I looked at my alarm clock next to my 4-poster-bed. The numbers were just bright white blurs at first but as I squinted in focus, I- shit!

To my dismay, the alarm clock said 9:50. It was 10 minutes until the match starts! I had a brilliant plan to wish Kachan luck before his match, maybe get his head focused in the game, but now that didn't seem possible.

But no matter what I needed to at least make it to the match. I needed to see him play.

I tore myself out of bed and threw on some easy clothes-

A blue and yellow stripped T-shirt, long, baggy black pants, and a pink jacket. Easy.

Then I flew through the dorms and out of the school as quickly as I could. I needed to get to the quidditch field in the 5 minutes I had left.

"Izuku!" I was stopped at the door leading outside, looking around of the culprit.

"Are you going to the quidditch field?" Uraraka asked, skipping up to me. "yes! I need to hurry, do you want to come with?" she shrugged with a cheerful smile. "sure, I need a run."

The two of us booked it out the doors and down the over grassed pathway, across the lawns, and finally, to the stadium. "We did it! They're starting!" Uraraka cheered as we made it to the entrance of the stadium. We both walked over to the Hufflepuff tent, and up the rails of the inside. When we peeked outwards to the seating box, most everywhere was full but we searched vigorously for a spot.

Right in the front row of the box, there was a space wide enough for the two of us to sit. Maybe it'll be easy for Kachan to see me from there? We skipped over to it and took our places between some plain looking people.

"I think the captains are shaking hands now..." Uraraka whispered in my ear, narrating the scene. "uhuh!" I agreed, having pulled out my ray band glasses from my pocket and put them on. I can't see far away well, and I have stigmatism, hence the glasses.

(Stigmatism is a common eye disorder found in 1 in 3 people. This vision impairment blurs light immensely. I have stigmatism.)

Soon, Madam Hooch blew her whistle with a drawn out 'fwwpt' and all the players from each team kicked up into the air with their brooms.

The crowd when wild with the start of the game. Unsurprisingly, I heard my fellow Hufflepuffs around me cheer for the Gryffindor's.

I kept my eyes on Kachan. The wind ruffled through his hair. His face looked stern and focused, holding his bat. Kachan is the beater on his team, so his job is to hit bludgers- the big wooden balls- at the opposing team and protect them from their own.

He soared around the stadium, locking eyes with the bludger multiple times and throwing out his bat at it.

Kachan Made his way to my end of the stadium. Infront of us was Draco Malfoy, becoming subjected to a bludger attack.
