Gossiper
Written for a Creative Writing assignment
-Free Verse-
Echo is a nasty gossiper
who is pardoned from judgement
because her voice is like gossamer.
With excitement, she flies around,
bouncing from ear to ear,
telling of the news she has found.
Each time she spreads her rumors
her enthusiasm drops
because no one shares in her humor.
Despite this, every sound she hears
she cries out, and lets it reverberate
through every bystanders' ears.
