Y/n's POV :
I woke up and saw Zoro wasn't here, his swords were missing too, maybe he went into town
"Umi, i am going to the restaurant to work" I mumbled to the sleeping Umi and went out
"I already told the inn owner to give my sister some food if she gets hungry, well she is smart, she is gonna be fine" I mumbled to myself in the road

"Good morning owner san" I said with a warm smile
"Good morning y/n chan!!Can you plaase get to your shift right now? "
She asked and I nodded
"Okay so I already showed you everything you have to do, i am going home then my children will be home soon after school" Said the owner lady
"Yes sure, I am already experienced so that won't be a problem" i assured her
"Well thank you"
... She left
... Hmm the restaurant is mostly empty right now, i hope no one comes and I can just sit around the whole day
When suddenly I heard the door open

"Good morning" Saying that I turned over and there he was
"Ace??!" I shouted
"AUNTY!!!! Finally!!" Saying that he ran to hug me

"PULL AWAY!!" I pushed him from on top of me
When did he even get so attracted to us??
"What are you doing here Ace?" I asked as he sat on the chair in front of the counter

"I missedd.... " He mumbled

"Okay order up! I can now repay you helping me and Umi back in arlong park!"

And saw him blush a bit
"Okay thenn! I will have some fried rice with meat! And some beer too!"
He said
"You are 17,no need for underaged drinking!" I shouted as my inner big sister personality came out
"Stop being like that aunty" He said with a pout
"How do you even know I am 17?" He asked
"You tol-"
"WHY DID I EVEN BOTHER ASKING" replied Ace
"Where is umoni?" Asked Ace as I gave him some milk to drink
"She is back at the hotel we are staying at" I replied while cutting some peppers
"Whaaa!! You guys are staying in a hotel?" He asked
"Well yea, someone helped- "
I stopped immediately
... Won't it be bad if Zoro and Ace mets now? Or even if they get to know each other's name?? The plot will differ very much!
"What were you saying?"he asked as he put down his glass of milk like a beer
" Th-This owner lady helped us find a hotel and gave me a job" I said
"Really? The owner lady must be very kind!! Mannn it reminds me of that aunty I knew!!" Ace said
"Btw who is this 'aunty' you keep talking about? " I asked curiously
... She wasn't mentioned on the original story
"OHH, I didn't tell you guys about her huh!!" He grinned
I shooked my head in response
"Well, when I still didn't had my whole crew but just me,my striker and deuce... We both got parted" He stated
"Huh? Then?" I asked
"Some pirates attacked us and Deuce fell into the ocean and I went to help him but I was a devil fruit user you know" He said sadly
"I was hating myself that I lost my first crew so easily... Going on for days in the ocean on top of the striker, without eating or drinking
I fell asleep sulking about deuce....When, I woke up to a old lady looking at me, i scanned around to see it was a poor island i floated into" Continued Ace
"Then?" I asked putting down the knife and sitting in front of him
"Then I thought getting out of the island will be better but then she said some words which made me stay" He said
"What did she say?" I asked
*flashback of Ace*
"God, this poor island without any food, and now another pirate floats up here" She said while putting her hand on her forehead
"Another?? Lady is there another pirate here?" Asked ace jumping from his striker
"Oh yes, a guy named deuce washed up here earlier some days ago" She answered
"H- he is my nakama!" I cried
The kind lady helped me walk to her home which seemed closer to the shore and far from the other village houses, she had to help me even stand because I had gotten so weak because of not eating for so many days
She told me to not make any noise and not go out even if its an emergency
I went there and saw... My nakama deuce
We hugged and he said he also woke Up from his sleep just yesterday after being unconscious for so many days
..
"He was injured when I first found him, he came to seek help in the village, but god saved him By letting me reach there first" Said the aunty
"Huh? What do you mean by first?" I asked while eating some fried rice and meat
"Oh?You don't know, this is a island without navy protection, even crops don't grow here, there is a huge problem with foods here, the village made a strict rule of sending people their portions of food every weekend to use for the rest of the week, having kids or bringing in outsiders are the biggest crimes here" Said the Lady while looking out of the window
"Normally if they find out there are outsiders, they attack them and take their belonging, most of the time even kills them" Added the aunty
"Then why did you helped us?" Asked deuce
".... Because... I don't know, you kids could had died, so I just saved you" Said the aunty
"Mannn you are a nice aunty" Said Ace while eating his fried rice
"HEY YOU SHE JUST SAID THERE ISN'T FOOD HERE, SAVE SOME FOR HER" shouted deuce
....
1 day later Ace and deuce left the island, the aunty made him promise to not come back to the island risking their lives, the aunty has a dad and husband to take care of so she can't leave the island, but Ace promised her that the day he becames a well-known big pirate, he will come back to visit and help them again
*Flashback ends*
"That's all!!" Ace said with a jolly face, finishing his last bit of fried rice
"HU-HUH? WHY ARE YOU CRYING" screamed Ace
"Whhhaaaa, you falled asleep 4 times and i know skipped most of the details but still the aunty is so kindddd,she deserves the worlddddd whaaaa" Cried y/n
"Do- Don't cry!!! Makino said it's very bad to make a girl cry!!" Panicked Ace,holding y/n's mouth, not knowing what to do with his emotional girl
