Okay, should I continue? Who is actually reading this? 5 people? Continuing anyway, I like this story. So, chapter five.....

NIALL'S POV

I sat down on the couch, a plate of pancakes in my hands. Louis plopped down next to me, taking up the entire couch.

I started on my stack of pancakes, taking a giant bite.

"Niall, chew with your mouth closed!" Both Mum and Liam scolded at the same time. I closed my mouth, swallowing the bite of pancake. They get along really well, they both take care of us. Not in that mother/father way, together it's more of a mother/bigger brother way. Liam's only the father when we're on tour.

"Yeah Niall, murder the pancakes with your mouth closed!" Louis yelled.

"I am!" I protested, some of the pancake on my plate falling onto Louis's feet. He shrieked, falling off the couch, and Mum sighed.

"Sorry Louis!" I yelled.

"I'm okay!" He yelled back.

"I really hope you guys are going somewhere today, I really need a day without you boys." Mum said.

"I thought yesterday was your day without us."

"Are you talking back, Niall?"

"Um...no?"

"I was kidding, Niall." Mum grinned. "But I still want a day for myself."

"We can figure something out for today, it just feels that we're always going somewhere." Harry said.

"Listen, I'm used to no kids running around. And now I have five. I need a day off."

"Are we really that bad?" Zayn asked.

"To be honest, yes."

"Ow, that hurt, mum. I thought you loved me."

"Awww, I do love you. But I can't handle him." Mum said, pointing to Louis.

"Why me? I'm the good child!"

"We all know there is absolutely no way you are the good child, Louis." Harry laughed.

"Maybe you should all go and see a movie or something." Mum suggested.

"Yeah, maybe we should." I said. Really, all I wanted to do was sit around the house doing nothing, but Mum really wanted us out of the house.

I heard the kitchen phone ring, and I got up to answer it.

"Hello?"

"Can I speak to Maura Horan please?"

"Um, sure. Just wait a second."

I glanced back into the living room.

"Mum, it's for you."

Mum got up, taking the phone out of my hands.

"Hello? Yes, this is Maura. What? No, I haven't seen her lately- WHAT? She's in the hospital? Hold on, I'll be there in fifteen minutes." Mum said worriedly, hanging up, and grabbing her coat and car keys.

"Mum, is something wrong?" I asked.

"A friend of mine got in a car accident, she's in the hospital. I hate to leave you kids now, but I really have to go."

And then she was gone, her car driving quickly in the rain down the road.

"Do we really have to leave the house? I wanna stay here today." Louis whined.
