If you've seen Bridgerton, this might be familiar.

Phil Graves was my supervisor and the biggest pain in my ass. He's egotistical, stubborn, and just over all an annoying prick. But he's got charisma and those pretty blue eyes with his cute Southern accent. He thinks his confidence makes him invincible, but it just makes him an asshole. He's nice to all the other shadows except me because I can see through that shield he puts up. I think it's because I'm not afraid to show the guys that I'm not intimidated by them. I've put all of them on their ass at least once during sparring matches. It's fun seeing the look on their faces when they're on the ground, and I'm standing above them.
Today was another day of training and drills. I just finished my workout in the gym, and I was on my way to the track. My headphones were in my ears, and I had a bottle of water in my hand with the towel over my shoulder. I was minding my own business, walking past my fellow shadows until somebody grabbed my shoulder and turned me around. “What!” I said as I removed one of my headphones from my ear to realize it was Graves. “Oh… sorry, sir.” I said, straightening my stance and taking my other headphone.
“What have I told you about having both headphones in your ears?” He crossed his arms. “When I need to get your attention. You need to be available.” He ordered coldly
“Sorry, sir.” I said calmly but clearly annoyed.
“You know this attitude is starting to get very old.” He said as he looked me up and down with an angry look in his eye.
“My apologies.. sir.” I said keeping my voice calm but trying to sound less like a bitch. He let out a heavy sign before his eyes widened to a length that scared me. “sir?” I asked. Then I heard it, BUZZ BUZZZ. “What the-” I looked to my right and a bee was on my shoulder. “oh..” I swiped my hand over my shoulder.
“NO!” Graves grabbed my hand tightly and pulled it down. “Stop!” he ordered as a bee flew in between us.
His eyes showed prue fear and it was something I've never seen before. “It's just a bee.” I said dismissively as I waved my other hand to swipe it away.
“For God's fake, Y/n! Stop moving!” He grabbed my other hand and pulled it together with my other one. It looked like his eyes were going to pop out of his head. The bee flew over my face and I dodged it. “Y/N!” He grabbed my biceps and held me still.
He was terrified as he held me as I could see the bee fly away. “Sir?” I asked softly
We stood like that for a moment as he stared at me. A look of fear and heartbreak in his eyes. “Are.. are you alright? Can you breathe?” He questioned as he scanned me.
Then I remember… Phillips' mother died from a bee sting when he was a boy. He couldn't help her as she died in front of him.
“I'm fine.” I slowly nodded and said in a sweet and calm tone.
“Are you sure?” His hands moved to hook on the back of my neck and he moved my head to scan my face. “Are you sure?” His voice was laced with fear that melted my heart.
“I'm unharmed, Phillip.” I whispered, taking his hand and placing it over my heart. “I'm unharmed.” I repeated, looking directly into his eyes. “I'm fine.” I nodded
He sighed deeply and shakingly. “Thank the stars.” His other hand moved to my cheek and his thump caressed my cheek.
He was in fear for my life? I couldn't believe it. He cared about me. Did he… no, he doesn't love me. I'm just one of his shadows. I'm not important to him…
Or am I?

It's short, but it's cute😊

... That's what she said ...

I'm sorry😂🫣
