Addison watched as Mike face dropped at the news he was told. She's terrified for Abby, wondering where she is, what is happening to her.
"In the 80's when those kids went missing," Vanessa broke the silence. She avoided eye contact with Addison, "The police searched Freddy's from top to bottom, every inch was accounted for."
"But they never found them." She finally looks up from the ground "The man that took him, uh," She stuttered trying to speak, "Was a very bad man." She cried, "A very cruel man but also a very clever man." Addison and Mike listened to Vanessa with their hands touching.
"He knew that parents would cry," She explains the story, "and the police would come looking and he knew there's one place they'd never think to check because.."
"Why would they." Addison face sadden, "Why would anyone." Vanessa whispered to them. Mike squeezed Addison hand to comfort her. She gave him a sad smile.
"It's not just their ghosts that are inside of those machines." Vanessa spoke up again, "Its their bodies." Addison and Vanessa spoke at the same time. Tears fall out of Addisons eye, she quickly wipes them away.
