CHAPTER 5

Mansi pov :

It has been one week since I met Kunal. Our engagement is fixed on day after tomorrow. My exam was quite good. Abhi tk maine engagement ki koi bhi preparation nhi ki h exams ki wajah se as mera exam aaj hi khatm hua h.Riya (my bestie) has promised to me that she will help me. Hmlog ne decide kiya h ki pehle hmlog ghar pe manicure, pedicure aur facial karvaenge. Hm bahar bhi jaa sakte the but mai chahti hu ki meri mom bhi ache se ready ho meri engagement me aurr wo kaam ki wajah se jaati nhi to maine socha ghar pe hi bulate h so that mom ke pass koi excuse na rahe.

Kunal pov:

It's been a week and I am desperate to see my fiance, my love. Right now my mom is choosing my clothes for the engagement. "Beta ye batao kesa lag rha h? " My mom asked. "Acha h, aap dekh lo na kya lena h aap jante ho ki mujhe shopping me kuch bhi samjh nhi aata. " Riya said to tease me "bhai abhi to thik h but shaadi ke baad bhabhi ke liye gift kase choose karoge aap? " " Mom dekh lo isse"I complained. "Shi to bol rhi h beta aage jaa kar tumko hi problem hogi"Mom said. " Tab ka tab dekhenge" I replied.

On engagement day,

Mansi pov:

Priya is helping me get ready for my engagement.She is a makeup artist.Suddenly someone knocks the door. "Beta kitna time lagega? "My mom asked."Aunty ek baar andar aakar apni beti ko dekh to lijiye"Priya said. "Haaye kitni pyari lag rhi h meri bachii kisi ki nazar na lage".Thank u mom,I replied.
" Acha hmlog abhi 15 minutes me nikalne wale h to jo kuch bhi bacha h wo tum dono jaldi kar lo"mom said and we nodded. Priya ne pehle hi mom ko ready kar diya tha because I want ki meri mom sabse pyaari lage meri engagement me aurr last time pe panick na kare ready hone ke liye.

Kunal pov:

We are at the venue. Mom has said that they will be here in 5 minutes. I am standing at the the entrance of venue, waiting for them especially Mansi. Suddenly a car stops in front of me. Mansi was driving the car. Car me kuch saaman aurr Mansi ke mummy papa bhi the. Riya also come to welcome them. "Uncle aunty aap dono mere saath andar chaliye baki ka saaman staff rakh denge aurr bhai aap bhabhi ko lekar aaiye " Riya said. She opened the door and I helped her to come out of the car. "Aaj to aap bahut pyari lag rhi h "I said and she blushed and said "aap bhi ache lag rahe h." I was only looking at her face damm god she is looking so beautiful. She asked "andar chale? " I came out of my thoughts and nodded.

These are the looks of our cute couple.





Mansi pov:

We took blessings from our family. Maa said " Kitne pyare lag rahe ho aap dono ek sath kisi ki nazar na lage " Maa said "Riya bhabhi ko apne sath le jaao aurr aapko kisi bhi chiz ki jarurat ho to Riya se bol dena aap" and I nodded. Riya took me to a room and we chat about half an hour.She is too sweet.Priya was helping my mom.

Maa entered the room and said "beta saare guest aa chuke h abb aap log bhi bahar aa jao " and we nodded. After reaching to the stage I sit beside Kunal. "Aap thik ho na aapko paani chaiye?" He asked. "No, thanks mai thik hu " I replied.

So, it's the time for the engagement but suddenly I saw Riya was running and there were tears in her eyes. When I see Kunal he was also looking at her. "Maa hmlog abhi aate h plz bss 2 minute me " Kunal said to her mom and we quickly ran towards Riya.
