Okay let's continue from where we stopped last. Where were we? Oh yes! I was stucked in what looked like traffic and some crãzy people were shooting at the drivers that dares to come out of their car. They were also building some walls around us to somewhat trap us in.
I was almost having an heart attack as I kept wondering if this was how I was going to end it. I mean, I haven't even had a child to continue my generation. My lovely wife is in her car at the back and their is no network service to contact her.
I tried calming down and thinking of what to do.... That was when the idea struck me .
"Yes!! you gotta call 911" I said to myself.
Emergencies number doesn't need internet connection so the call went through easily.
"Hello, this is 911. What's your emergency" I heard a lady's voice from the other end of the call.
"Uhm, I'm stuck in something that looks like a traffic along the highway but it's not. Some armed men are kīlling people and also trapping us in behind some walls" I answered.
There was a long silence at the other end of the phone. I thought the call had been disconnected. Just then, I heard a tap at the window of my door. I looked and saw a lady officer holding the phone to her ears ... It was obvious that she was the one that I called.
"Sir, I need to remind you that calling the police for false complaint is a crime and you could be arrested for that" she said.
I took a deep dry breath and replied "I'm sorry, I actually thought something bad was going on but I guess I was wrong."
She smiled and said "Pls stay in your car at all cost" after that, she walked to the front.
Immediately, I took my phone and tried calling Lauren's number again. This time, it went through....
"Hello, gosh! I'm so happy your number finally connected. I think something terrible is going on and even the officers are involved too" I said almost at once.
There was no reply. "Hello Lauren? You there??" I said again.
Still no reply and then the call disconnected.
I could hear my heart beating so rapidly. I wondered what had happened to my wife.... I wondered if we were on the news already. I've always wanted to be shown on television but definitely not this way.
Just then, a driver from the front jumped out of the car and started running towards an open space. Immediately, he was shot in the leg.
I could hear him cry out in pain as he fell to the ground.
Then a tank at the front of the man reversed and crushed the man like he was some sort of sardine..... I felt so disgusted that I almost vomited.
I started sweating heavily even when there was a cool air conditioning inside my truck.
The workers were still building the walls round us and then some armed men started dragging drivers out of their cars and taking them to what remains of the wooden area where they disappear out of sight and then we hear some loud screams. After that, they come for more drivers.
They were almost at my truck now.....
