"Sure. Can you pass me the big board over there?" He asked, gesturing to the back of a corkboard. Confused, Jungkook strolled over to it and turned it around.

"Hobi-hyung...what is this?" Jungkook asked, his eyes darting over the big board in perplexion.

"It's our game plan," He replied, casually, barely giving it a glance.

"Game plan?" Jungkook echoed.

"It seems Kookie found Hobi's football plan," Yoongi stalked in, his eyes immediately catching Jungkook and the board. Yoongi collapsed onto the couch and closed his eyes tiredly.

"It's not a football plan. It's a reference to football but it has nothing to do with sport." Hobi defended his board, passionately.

"Why does it have all of our names and plans on what to do with Madeline?" Jungkook asked.

"Because it's a plan on how to win her affection and show we are trustworthy and honest," Hobi explained, taking the board from Jungkook and hanging it on the wall over the fireplace.

"But...do we really need an actual game plan?" Jungkook wondered, trying to see where Hobi was coming from.

"Of course. We can't mess this up. We only get one chance and I'm going to make sure we don't...what do Americans say? Blow it?" He stated in determination. Yoongi chuckled at Hobi's use of American terminology, shaking his head.

"If we follow your strict plan, our efforts will come across as unnatural and forced," Yoongi told Hobi, combing his long hair back. "I know you don't want to mess everything up but I think we should also be wary of overplanning."

Once again, Jungkook was in awe of Yoongi. He always knew the right thing to say and how to say it.

"I think we should have a team meeting about what we should do moving forward. We're staying in America but we need to work out how to approach Madeline without chasing her away." Hobi said, his excited expression shifting to nervousness.

"Even though she is close to me, it still feels like she's millions of miles away," Jungkook admitted with a heavy heart. He had yet to bond with Madeline and desperately wanted to. The others all expressed the euphoria they felt when bonding. There was a lightness to their steps and a glow that surrounded them. Jungkook wanted that.

A somber mood blanketed the room. They all felt the same, whether they bonded or didn't.

After unpacking their stuff, they finally all sat in the lounge and discussed what they were going to do. Or as Hobi introduced it, the game plan.

"So, Freya gave me Madeline's number but told me not to message it immediately. Madeline doesn't know about this. Her dad said Madeline would be staying at his home for at least a week to recover. After that, they're not sure whether she'll return to college or not." Namjoon began in a calm tone. "Honestly, I'm not sure how we can proceed. I think the best way to get to know her and for her to know us is to either see her individually or in small groups."

"Since we don't have any other options, we'll have to do that. Perhaps two of us could go on a walk with her?" Jin suggested, not wanting to overwhelm her.

Jungkook liked the sound of that, a lot. But since he had sort of spent more time than others, he knew he'd probably have to wait longer to see her.

"That sounds like a good idea. I'm down for it," Hobi agreed, his eyes sparkling at the idea of seeing her.

"Okay, then. Should we play rock, paper scissors to decide who gets to go first?" Namjoon added, rolling up his sleeves in anticipation.

Mentally, Jungkook grinned. He was pretty good at this.
