"What the fuck are you doing here?" Both me and the female half of the duo asked in sync
"We're doing our job." The male half of the duo spoke in disbelief. "Now you answer." He said
"A friend of mine lives here." I said, quickly making up an excuse. "Now give me a less cryptic answer." I said
"We're here for Kim Jisoo." Daniel spoke
"She's not here." I said
"Is Park Chaeyoung here?" He asked, hiding his hurt expression
"No. Only me and my friend." I shrugged
"Who's your friend Y/N?" JiU asked, looking down at the ground.
"Who is it?" Lisa asked, approaching from behind after setting the cups down on the table. JiU's head shot up at the sound of the familiar voice. A glare taking over her insecure expression.
"Cops. My teammates." I said "they're looking for Jisoo and a Park Chaeyoung" I said "do they live here?" I asked, Lisa gave me a very puzzled expression, but shook it off soon after
"Not as far as I'm aware. How can I help?" She asked, pushing me further into the house while she took over the door.
"One of our researchers believe she lives here." Daniel spoke
"I rent this place, my landlord is pretty secretive and she hasn't even gave me a proper name." Lisa shrugged "it's cheap rent so I never questioned her, I can't really afford anything different for now, so I avoid anything that could put me on her bad side." She said with a shameful shrug
"Mind if we come in?" JiU asked, Daniel shot her a look of concern
They don't have a warrant. It's so obvious.
"Is that necessary?" Lisa asked
"No-" Daniel was trying to deny
"Yes. We need to fact check" JiU wasn't having it
"Upstairs is being done so you can't go up there but you have free roam down here. It was recently finished so everything is a bit all over the place." She said, kicking the box trying to close it to little success because it was so overfull.
I took the box, and went upstairs. I know I wasn't allowed, but I wasn't going to adventure far, I was just going to throw it down and go back downstairs. But they entered before I made it to the top step and after a few seconds, some quick footsteps followed me.
"Daniel is downstairs" She warned before I turned around. I threw the box down and finally turned around "I told him I'll confirm with you that you're okay." She sighed
I dropped the box upstairs, like I had planned, and stepped down to the square step to look at JiU.
"What the fuck are you playing at?" She asked, forcing me back, so we were now both on the square step, me back to the wall, her back to the stairs leading back down. "You break up with me because I'm a gang member, yet you're here defending Kim Jisoo?? And her messed up little quadruple of serial killers?" She asked
"I'm not defending them. I am here on work as well, and I can't have them getting arrested, or I'll never get what I came for." I said
"Some tough work having tea with the most sensual head fuck in this gang." She said
"You don't understand." I said
"You're starting to sound a bit too much like the reason you ended things" she said
"Fine. If you're so offended because I'm here with Lisa, let me tell you why I'm here." I said "I'm here to interrogate Jisoo. About you. And then give the information I learn to chief." I said simply
