The rest of the day was pretty boring, as was the three days of no work, which both the doctor and JiU advised.
"Wow would you look at that, the ghost is back" Daniel jokingly welcomed
"Here I am, but don't be too happy, raid's been moved forward, today is nothing but training." I replied
"What??" He asked in a distraught tone
"Got the call last night, where's Officer Kim?" I asked, JiU went back home after 2 days as she needed to make sure everything was alright at her place, I told her that I'd be fine and that she no longer needed to stay, she was hesitant, but she agreed nonetheless.
"She said she'd be late today, don't remember why but yeah." Daniel replied
"Okay, training will start when she arrives then." I said
"I thought the meeting with the other departments were today?" Daniel said
"They are, but sir said he'll introduce us to the team we'll be working with when the basic preparation and training has been done." I shrugged "speaking of, have you been told where we're raiding yet?" I asked, he looked around and nodded, using his fingers to tell me to come closer. I went over to him and stood over him to see what he was showing me, I looked at the screen in confusion "is that a boat?" I asked quietly
"That's a boat all right, boat schedule is on the right" he replied and pointed to the schedule "what day is the raid on now it's been moved forward?" He asked
"We have a week till the day." I replied, he quickly and briefly read through the schedule, pressing his finger on the bit of the screen that matched the date.
"The last day it's in Seoul" he said "messy but also smart choice of day" he said "matches our team well" he said "we'll have to be smooth with it though..." he said, i nodded in agreement
"Have you got the blueprints of the model?" I asked
"We only have the model blueprints of the original model if they've modified anything on the boat we'll be going in blindly." He shrugged
"Not a huge fan of those odds" I sighed "get the engineers to make a small model of the boat using this blueprint." I said, he nodded saving the blueprints and also printed one off "make sure no one else other than the engineers see that" I pointed at the printer
"Okay, i'll also give them a scale diagram, so they can change the blueprints to the actual size of the miniature model they're making" he said
"Sounds good" I smiled "mark out all doors" I said and we worked together finding them all since this was quite a large boat, so there was quite a few doors and nothing on the blueprint was labelled
"Any boat specialists on our engineering team?" I asked
"Better off heading over there to ask, I'm not too sure" he replied, I nodded and stood up properly
"I'll be back in two minutes" I said and made my way to the engineering department, asking them if any of them are specialists, one of the boys explained to me that they were, Jackson I think his name is. I told him about the raid and he agreed to lead the engineering team with the boat model and other associated tasks.
"Thank you, keep in touch" I said and he nodded, i headed back to the Narcotics department, to see finally see JiU at the door
"Officer Kim." I said, she turned around
"Oh hey, what's the plans for today?" She asked, I opened the door for the pair of us and told her that we'd be focused training for now.
"Why are we training already?" She asked as we went over to Daniel
