45. A Moment at Bad Wolf Bay

Somewhere deep in the wardrobe of the Tardis stood a woman looking through racks and racks of clothes. She looked deep in thought, almost like she was focused on something. The room was silent save for the occasional screech from a hanger sliding. She was looking for new clothes as the ones she had on no longer fit. She pulled out various options holding them up to her body looking in a mirror. She would throw the ones she didn't like in a pile, she needed to find something soon. The Doctor was working on getting a link set up between them and Pete's world. She huffs blowing a strand of hair out of her face, looking through yet another rack. Eventually, she found what she wanted, smiling in content she put it on and started on her hair.

An image of the Doctor appears near Rose. Rose looks at him with a tearful smile.

"Where are you?" She asks weakly, the doctor sticks his hands in his pocket

"Inside the Tardis. There's one tiny little gap in the Universe left, just about to close, and it takes a lot of power to send this projection. I'm in orbit around a supernova. I'm burning up a sun just to say goodbye." he smiles down at the blonde

"You look like a ghost," she mutters

"Hold on" He uses his sonic screwdriver to solidify the image.

"Where is Elle? Can I?" she reaches out to touch the hologram of the doctor

"I'm still just an image. No touch. Elle will be here in a moment." he turns his face away from Rose "Elle, My love, hurry. We don't have long."

"Can't you come through properly?" the blonde asks smiling slightly at the love that showed in his eyes whenever he called her name.

"The whole thing would fracture. Two universes would collapse." a female's voice sounds then a curly-haired ginger woman steps into view appearing next to the doctor. Rose stared at her taking in her appearance, she had freckles on freckles and the greenest eyes Rose had ever seen. She was short and slim. She was wearing a pair of black with blue plaid slacks and a black blouse. She had a black leather moto jacket on and black shoes just like the doctors. Rose looked at her face again before gasps slipped the lips of the blonde "Elle?"

"The one and only" her new voice had a Scottish twang to it. Rose smiled, "You look amazing"

"You do as well" the ginger grins

"Where are we? Where did the gap come out?" The doctor asks wrapping an arm around Elle's shoulders.

"We're in Norway." Rose smiles at the two aliens taking in how lovely they look together

"Norway. Right." Elle smiles.

"About fifty miles out of Burgen. It's called 'Darlig Ulv Stranden'."

"Dalek?" Elle goes wide-eyed

"Darling. It's Norwegian for bad. This translates as Bad Wolf Bay." Rose corrects, the doctor just grins while Elle muses, "How ironic"

"How long have we got?" Rose shuffles on her feet

"About 10 minutes." The doctor smiles

"I can't think of what to say!" Rose lets out a teary laugh

"You've still got Mister Mickey, then?" the doctor asks with a gentle smile

"There's five of us now. Mum, Dad, Mickey, and the baby."

"You're not?" Elle gasps earning a chuckle from rose

"No. It's mum. She's three months gone. More Tylers on the way."

"And what about you? Are you" Elle asks
