Chapter 31: Harry's Here

"And the hearing at the Minsetry is just outrageous. I looked it up. They simply can't expel you. It's not fair"

"Yeah. So what is this place?" I asked.

"It's headquarters," Ron said.

"Of the order of the the phoenix. Dumbledore formed it back when they fought you know who"

"Couldn't put this into a letter I suppose. I've gone all summer without a scrap of new"

"We wanted to write mate. Really we did only..."

"Only what"

"Dumbledore made us swear we wouldn't say anything" Hermione said

"Dumbledore said that. But why would he keep me in the dark? Maybe I could help. I'm the one who saw Voldemort return. The one who fought him who saw Cedric get killed." Then I heard a pop behind me and the twins were there.

"Harry," Fred said

"Thought we heard your dulcet tone," George said

"No need to bottle it all up though mate. Let it out"

I rolled my eyes and sighed.

"If you're all done shouting would you like to hear something more interesting"

We followed them to the stairwell.

"It was y/n idea though she hasn't seen it yet," Fred said before dropping an ear attached to a string down the stairs near the kitchen door. We heard the group talking before it became very scratchy. We looked down and Crookshanks was playing with the ear. Hermione tried to shoo him away but it broke. We all sighed before we heard a scream. Fred stiffened next to me. I heard a chair move quickly downstairs

"I got her Sirius!" Fred yelled before running up the stairs. I watched him for a second. Hermione looked towards the ground as I looked over at her for some explanation. I took a breath before the door was open.

"Well be eating down In the kitchen," Molly said opening the door. Ginny said hello to Molly before I made it down. Molly pulled me into a hug.

"You hungry Harry" Molly asked. Before I could answer aurthor cut it.

"You sure you Alright Harry? You gave us quite a turn." I nodded before he moved.

"Harry Potter" I heard Sirius say. A smile grew on my face.

"Sirius" he pulled me Into a hug. He laughed a little before we walked into the other room. Fred apperated in and went over to Sirius.

"She wants one of you," he said quietly. Sirius and remuss smiles dropped

"Is something wrong?" Sirius said standing up.

"She's not calming down. I don't know what to do" Then Sirius looked at me and nodded towards the door. I followed him.

"Suppose they haven't told you about y/n," he said.

"What"

"She's not doing well" I froze for a second on a step before quickly catching up

"Is that why she hasn't lettered me?"

"Yeah. Hasn't been out of her room often and hasn't eaten much. She only lets me Fred and Remus in. It used to be Hermione but something happened" We stopped in front of the door. "I want to see if you're able to help her. She's going to need someone this school year and I want her to be able to go to school. You go in I'll be here. Tell me if you need anything." I nodded and he opened the door. He opened the door for me and moved to head back down the stairs
