Chapter 4 - An Early End

No One's POV

A fleet of ships is moving in close unison through the seas, battleships, cruisers and destroyers all formed around a carrier where rows of aircraft were parked and ready to take off, while at the end of one flight deck, a girl wearing a commander jacket and hat is standing, a bow in hand as she looks around at her comrades in arms,

"Are you sure we want to continue? We don't even really know her" Dace said as she stood next to Enterprise

"We may not, but she was attacked by the Sakura Empire, she is a Lexington class aircraft carrier, and it's clear she is being moved further away," Enterprise said

"She didn't seem like she mined it when we met her back there..." Dace said as Enterprise had a determined look

"Even if so, we still have a golden opportunity to take out a large number of crimson axis forces," Enterprise said as it was clear, her mind was set on continuing "They will pay for what they did."

"Miss Enterprise is right, we are at war with crimson axis and we can't play soft or we will lose," Belfast said as she approached Enterprise, a cup of tea in hand

"It may not look like it, but this decision was also hard for me, but this is the best course of action" Enterprise said as Dace nodded and walked off

"Are you sure? Those girls aren't even the ones responsible for your pain, while yes, Sardegna and Iron Blood have been fighting the Royal Navy, they haven't really Fought Eagle Union yet, nations on both sides have unique relations to their now 'Enemies'. As an example, we can't forget how Sakura Empire just rejected a declaration of war and both sides didn't care to touch the subject further" Belfast said as she presented Enterprise with the tea

"I have already decided, and as a leader, I cannot doubt myself as I am supposed to be the one that leads others," Enterprise said as she took the teacup and looked at it, seeing her reflection in the dark brown semi-transparent liquid "And my nation is also at war with Sardegna Empire and Iron Blood, if I can't fulfil my purpose in fighting, I am useless," Enterprise said back to Belfast as she handed her back the teacup

"We aren't weapons, we have our own minds, ideals, principles, morals, desires, and besides, if a weapon was made with a bad purpose, in my opinion, it should remain useless," Belfast said as she refused to take back the cup of tea "Maybe you should at least try," Belfast said as Enterprise nodded "The tea, I mean," Belfast said with a smile

"..." Enterprise remained quiet as she looked at her own reflection in the tea and thought about what Belfast said

"Are you sure of it?" The purple-haired girl in a splendorous uniform asked

"Si," The red-haired girl in a similar but darker uniform said

"That's Horrible!" Eugen said as she stood up "We won't make it for Christmas!" She said as the other two cruisers nodded "Is there anything we can do, Trento?" She asked

"There's nothing we can do," a purple-haired girl who wore the same clothing as the red-haired one said

"I mean, we could try to organize it here," Trento said as it piqued the other's interest
