CHAPTER 11: MEETING WITH EACH OTHER

"Hello, Ma'am Allesi, good morning. This is Terry po, the Sales Manager of D'Levina Blueprint Home, this is to inform you that our boss, the CEO wants to meet you in person to discuss the proposal of your company. In line with this, Mrs. Milano is also part of the meeting discussions. I need your confirmation regarding the appointment tomorrow at 10:00 a.m. Are you available?"

Siya ang sumagot sa kabilang linya. Bilang head manager ng branch, kailangan niyang dumalo sa meeting discussion.

"Ah yeah, I am, thank you for reaching out." She answered delightedly.

Danilee Santi, the manager of the marketing department made a partnership proposal with the D'L Blueprint Home. Marami silang clients that connected in this company. Bilang isang bagong branch, the company needs to build connections to make more sales. Their company is purely on interior designing. May tatlong kumpanya na silang affiliated sa architectural firms—and obviously, marami ang nagkakainteres sa mga designs nila.

"Mrs. Milano, wants your designs, Miss Allesi. So ikaw ang dadalo sa meeting today." Danilee said and smiled. Half Filipino din ito—ang ina ay Filipino at ang ama naman ay isang Italian. Isang interior designer din ito. Tatlo silang interior designers sa branch na ito, may iba't-ibang theme kaya naman kung sino ang mapipili ni clients for the home designs, siya ang makikipagdeal—including the signing of contract.

"Fine. I would love to meet them. Thank you, Dani, for facilitating our clients." She smiled at her. Galing kasi siya sa Cebu kagabi. Medyo lutang pa nga siya dahil dumalo siya sa gender reveal celebration ng kaibigan. Masaya siya dahil baby boy na ang bunso ni Cessyl.

"Sure, sure. You can count on me. Anyway, I have to go. I have a client to meet up."

"Okay. See you later."

Na-curios siya D'Levina Blueprint Home kaya naman gusto niyang mabasa ang background ng kumpanya. Kapangalan kasi niya ang first name ng company except the D'. Umupo siya sa swivel chair and opened her desktop to check. She was about to read the background of the company when her phone rang.

The twins called. Lumawak ang ngiti niya.

"Hello sweethearts!" Nakangiti siyang nag-wave ng kamay sa harap ng video call. Maingay ang mga ito, halatang na-excite na kausapin siya. Natatawa naman siya sa reacksyon ng dalawa. Oh God, how she misses them so much. Parang gusto na niyang umuwi agad-agad.

"Is that your office Mamma?" Ava asked sweetly.

"Si, sweetheart" Sagot niya sabay tango.

"Il tuo ufficio sembra a posto, Mamma." Ava replied. (Your office looks good, Mom)

"Grazie figlia, mia." Thank you, my daughter. She smiled at her.

"When will you go home? Mi manchi mamma" I miss you mamma. Sumimangot si Amara sa harap ng camera. She sighed at itinago ang lungkot.

"Soon, sweetheart. Mamma will go home when the work is done here in the Philippines." She answered, hopeful. Titiisin niya muna ito for the mean time.

"How long Mamma?" Amara again. Makulit talaga itong anak niya. Bahagya siyang natawa.

"Soon, sweety." She smiled. Pero mas lalong sumalpok ang kilay nito.

"When is soon?" Amara asked again.

"Soon is bukas, Mara." Ava answered immediately. Natawa ang granparents nito sa background sa sagot ni Ava.

"Bukas? That would be so soon, right?" Amara agreed. Nagkaroon pa ng diskusyon ang kambal. Napapangiti siya sa kainonsentihan ng dalawa.
