CHAPTER 5: LEAVING AWAY FROM PAIN

It's been two days. Nagfile na siya ng sick leave sa kanyang boss at siguro kapag nakapagdesisyon na siya ay magreresign na siya sa trabaho. Pakiramdam niya ay hindi na siya effective kapag bumalik siya sa trabaho niya bilang interior designer. Dean never call her nor reach out for her. Ganito si Dean kapag nasa kalagitnaan sila ng away o misunderstanding. Pinapahupa nito ang kanyang emosyon.

She saw the comments on her break-up video na nag-viral. She received positive feedback that she needed to stand up for herself—Marami pang advice and words of encouragement—which she appreciated much from her supporters on social media.

She took her phone for a short video.

She sighed bago nag-umpisang magsalita. "Hi, Levina supporters and followers" She happily waved her hand in front of the camera. May namumuoo ng luha sa kanyang mga mata.

"And to those who encourage me to be a better person, I love you guys. And I am so thankful sa lahat ng mga messages niyo." Yumuko siya at pinahid ang luha. She started to get emotional. She face the camera and umingos, mapait siyang napangiti.

"Ahmm... about the break-up with Dean, yes, final na po 'yon." Mahina siyang natawa at pinahid muli ang luha. Alam ng halos karamihan na on and off ang kanilang relasyon. She shared it in her social media account except the agreement. Basag na ang boses niya. She didn't want to cry at magmukhang kawawa sa harap ng mga tao pero tila ang hirap gawin at pigilan ang nararamdaman niyang sakit at regret. Ilang minuto pa siyang kumalma at umingos muli dahil sa bumabarang sipon sa kanyang ilong. Humarap siya ulit sa camera at inayos ang sarili.

She smiled. "For now, I am leaving the Social Media world. I want to heal alone and in a peaceful way. Masyado na din pong mabigat ang sitwasyon ko ngayon. Maybe, time will heal all wounds as they say. Thank you sa mga nag-aabang sa buhay pag-ibig namin ni Dean." She smiled bitterly. Wala na ang mga luha at nagpakatatag na siya sa harap ng kamera.

"I mean, sa buhay pag-ibig ko kay Dean. Yes, you are all correct; our relationship is a one-sided love. I'll take accountability that I agreed on his terms—na maging babae niya." Mapait siyang ngumiti at pinahid muli ang luha. Yumuko siya at umingos.

"I just love him kaya ako pumayag to be his girlfriend knowing that he is not serious with me." Nakayuko niyang sabi sa sa harap ng kamera. Resting for a few seconds to say something good.

Ngumit siya ng mapait at humarap sa camera. "Salamat sa lahat ng suporta niyo. Ito na po 'yong last video ko. I don't know if babalik pa ako sa social media. Pero sa ngayon, wala na po kayong maririnig sa akin. Maraming-maraming salamat po sa advice niyo, nagkaroon ako ng motivation to move on and forget him. "Bye, guys! I love you." She gave a flying kiss in front of the camera and waved goodbye.

Pagkatapos ng maikling video call ay pinasa niya kay Cessyl with a message 'Post it after a week.'

Nagpadala siya ng letter two days after the break-up sa opisina nito. Kinabukasan, she was expecting na pupuntahan siya nito dahil it was a formal break-up letter. Pero hindi naman ito tumawag o nagchat man lamang sa kanya. She's not expecting something in him anymore. Kaya nagdecide siya na e-give up na talaga ang pagmamahal niya sa binata.

She changed all her passwords and deleted her email connected to her social media accounts. Her Twitter account, Viber, Instagram, and Facebook are all deleted. After that, she removed her sim. She flushed it in the toilet bowl. Ibabalik niya ang Iphone at lahat ng mga regalo ni Dean sa kanya.
