"There, the payment has been transferred to your accounts. It has been a pleasure negotiating with you," said the dark-haired man as he shook the Russian's hand.

The Russian nodded with a smile and turned to head to the ship and finally rest for the night.

Suddenly, they heard footsteps approaching. The mercenaries turned and watched as Jaune slowly approached them, Crocea Mors in hand, crackling with electricity.

The dark-haired man waved his hand and at least a dozen mercenaries immediately surrounded Jaune.

"Unexpected to come face to face with Jack The Ripper himself!" the dark-haired man exclaimed as his eyes scanned over Jaune's every feature.

"Jack the Ripper? This guy? Hahahaha!" The Russian couldn't contain his laughter. "This young man, the scary Jack The Ripper! Hahaha. From the way the stories were told, I thought he would be much scarier."

"I agree. Who would have thought, a young man with such an imposing appearance would fit perfectly into my collection of trophies. Blood-stained blonde hair and such a determined expression, they wouldn't be a bad thing for an exciting weekend," the man from dark hair licked his lips, his lustful and sinister gaze revealing his twisted thoughts as a bulge began to grow in his pants, imagining disturbing scenarios with Jaune.

"Heh, and I'm the sick one," the Russian let out another macabre laugh.

"Okay, guys, hold him down and strip this young man of his belongings. That sword, without a doubt, is a nice addition to my collection," he added, showing his interest in the weapon.

Jaune was surrounded by the mercenaries, who were looking at him maliciously. One of them approached him with the intention of grabbing him and holding him down.

But his head shattered in an instant, spraying blood, brains, and bones onto the others. His body collapsed and a flying eye hit the black-haired man's suit.

The other mercenaries were stunned and took a few steps back, pointing their weapons at Jaune.

- "This is getting complicated..." - the black-haired man sighed, falling into a hint of discouragement as he contemplated the growing complexity of the situation. His words, laden with palpable anxiety, escaped in a deep murmur laden with desperation. Well, at least I could take advantage of his body once, even if he doesn't resist. It would be a momentary diversion while it's still warm... Get rid of it! he ordered, his face twisted in determination and a shadow of malice.

"Hope."

Jaune Arc's emotionless voice stopped them all in place, his words ringing through the air like an icy warning. The black-suited man looked at him expectantly, as Jaune cautiously assessed his surroundings, a meticulous calculation in his eyes.

"Very well, they better have brought something with a much larger caliber, because if they don't kill me with all those weapons..."

Jaune's cold eyes lit up, revealing a black iris in the center.

"Everyone will die before reloading."

"Ha! All you have is that fancy knife, you're surrounded, we have guns and there are many more of us than you!" The man in black smiled even wider. And Jaune spoke.

"All around me is fear and Dead Men"

Then they started shooting at him; hundreds of bullets were launched towards Jaune's body in a frenzy of lead and thunderous noise.

For a long moment as each bullet hit, they ceased, allowing the deafening echo of the gunshots to fade into the air.
