They had decided that Mahalia would ride with Zaiyah and Kai with Hero. They checked out of the hotel and started in their journey back home

"Suh yuh si weh maah seh?" Kai asked
He was trying to explain why even dreaming about being with Zaiyah would be a bad idea. He was trying to get that through my head but I'd rather find out myself.

"Mi get weh yaah seh and mah try mek yuh know seh last night everybody did drunk and nuh body neva really did inna dem right mind," I told him honestly
"Suh unu neva do nothing?" He asked glancing at me before looking back at the road

Then the car came to a sudden halt then sped back up. We could hear drivers behind us complaining and honking at us.
"Dawg yuh sick inna yuh head?" I yelled at him holding on to the seat and dash board
"Weh yuh mean by well?!" He yelled back
"Mi neva do nothing wid har is jus a likkle chups and wi did drunk, nothing more nothing less!" I yelled. I watched as his grip on the steering wheel tightened till his knuckles were white slowly turned back to their original color
It wasn't just a little kiss, it was more than that and if we weren't drunk perhaps-
I was drawn out of my trance by him hissing his teeth and leaning back into his seat.
"Sorry, I don't mean to come off as harsh or anything but that's my baby sister and you're like family to me, I just don't want to have to choose sides." He told me in a sincere tone and I understood his protectiveness.
Sure, I was an only child but I've seen how far people have gone to protect their families especially their siblings.
"Listen, I wouldn't mind if you guys dated but please don't hurt her feelings cause a further than 6feet mi woulda haffi put yuh and worse seh wi fadda wouldn't stop till yuh dead," he said smiling and I laughed along with him
