"Maniii" Myles yelled as soon as he saw me
Me and dem man yere come from far. From prep school days up to now. Myles went to JC and Emilio went to Wolmers but we kept close all through thigh school.
"Man dem!" I yelled and they cheered after the greeting
Then Alakai stood up and introduced Ahzaiya. Myles and Emilio went over to KFC to get their food and Alakai went inside to order for us.
"So do you have a girlfriend?" I heard her ask and I was pulled away from my thoughts
"Why do I feel like your flirting with me?" I said in a girly voice mocking what she said earlier.
She rolled her eyes and smiled
"No, mi nuh have nuh woman," I said while nodding my head and looking down
"Why? Yuh waah mi?" We both laughed and she pushed my shoulder playfully
"Calm nuh Ziayah!" I said laughing
"Dat new?" I heard Kai from behind and we both looked at him
"Our little thing" she said in with a playful smile on her face
"Mine yuh get mi inna problem" I said sternly, knowing as much as Kai complains about his sister, he would kill for her.
"Azza, guh get some more ketchup" Kai told her and she went to go do that just as Myles and Emilio came back.
"She nuh speak patois?" I asked honestly
"Who Azza? When she ready fi chop two claat affa yuh" he started laughing "A wah? A bear twang she a twang? she soon start" he continued
"Yeah dawg and mi nuh mean nuh disrespect but she naav nothing name mannas!" I commenter on her behavior to brother
"Dat meeda tell mi fadda bro and is like him a side wid har!" He practically jumped up in agreement
"How she jus come down suh?-" Myles was about to ask but got interrupted by Zaiah
"Unu out yere a chat mi?" She spoke and for the first I actually heard her speak patois
Kai took the ketchup from her hands and distributed it to everyone equally
"Can I sit on your lap?" She asked and I nearly choked on what I was eating
"Yuh nuh si di bench deh right desso?" I asked and even brushed it off for her
"Weh yuh waah si dung pon di man lap fah?" Kai asked genuinely curious because there had to be a reason she asked that
"The bench is cold and I'm wearing shorts, plus your friend was just standing on here," She told him
"Yuh know seh a dat fi reach yuh still, because mi waah know who always a sen yuh out inna dem likkle bit a clothes deh?!" Kai spoke, most of his attention on his whopper
"It up to him still, but try nuh mek mi hear seh yuh deh wid him"
I agreed to let her sit on my lap but told her next time to wear something proper cause I agreed with her brother
