I hissed my teeth while looking down at my rumbling stomach. I hated Norman Manley International Airport with a passion. There was no where to get food here so I'd have to wait until I get to Constant Spring to get food. Feel like fi jus hop pon a next plane and guh home. A nuff mi nuff mek mi find mi self inna dah country yere.
I walked outside the airport and was hit with a slap from the sun. Not even likkle breeze. I started looking around for my brother and gave it a couple minutes before a called him because knowing him he probably forgot.

I was growing annoyed of this girl now. I had circled the airport 3 times and I still haven't seen her
"Yuh nuh feel like a time yuh get a ooman now?" I asked Aries to pass the time. If I go around one more time is a taxi she haffi guh wull.

I sighed, it had been a long week and I had to wake up really early to be here.
"I'm sorry, I'm just really tired I shouldn't take it out on you." I was no longer speaking in patois, I spoke in standard English so she could sense that I was being genuine.
"Where am I staying?" Ahzaiya asked

"If I knew then I wouldn't have asked," she retorted and rolled her eyes
"Yuh cyaah guh stay wid me cause mi house unda renovation and a one a mi friend dem guest room mi a stay inna" I rubbed my forehead.
"She can stay wid me" Aries suggested
"Afta weh yuh seh before she come inna di car mi nuh sure mi waah dat happen" I said turning his offer down
"Dat a before mi know dawg plus weh a di worse coulda happen. She a big pickney and both a wi busy" Aries competed
"Alright whateva yuh seh. Azza, yuh good wid dat?" I asked
"Yeah that's fine. You know and fully trust him right?Cause daddy seh him neva sen mi down yere come dead" she asked genuinely
